Steam and sauna patrons and their different personalities

So basically, part of my sexual awakenings would be cruising in spas, particularly in the steam and sauna section. Just to be clear, I am talking about places like kspas or massage places and NOT bath houses with different theme nights or something. And over the years of observing people inside those spas, I can categorize them based on their willingness to “interact” with other patrons and to some extent, body types. 
 

1. The “main character” syndrome people: these are the type wherein they know they look good, hot, young (or dads) fresh and at most, hunky. Sometimes packing down under or not. They know once they enter in the steam and sauna section, they don’t need to hunt or scout and go to the ends of the earth just to find people to interact with. They can either be tops, verse or bots or whatever, but one thing you can hate about them is that they think they’re too special, they need somebody in their level to play with, and that’s fine, that is your preference, but some are just so unkind to others to the point that they isolate the outcasts in different ways like getting out of the steam or sauna section angrily because for some reason, some action were interrupted or someone not on their level entered the room. 

2. The “chub chasers”, is I think like a sub category of number 1, same physical description, but they are like philanthropists. They entertain charity cases like us chubs (yes I said us). They are nice to have a conversation with, and they don’t treat you base on your body types. In fact, they are either solely attracted to chubs or other body types too.

3. The “Divas”: these are the Gretchen Wieners of spas, wherein they think they look good, mostly twinkish or twunkish, some might have voluptuous body frame, but one thing’s for sure, they are c*nty bottoms. They believe they are special because they are usually the ones horny gay guys are hunting for. Sometimes they end up being a one stop shop for everybody in the club, a h*e getting his ass (or cock) torn that day. They despise what they think of are ugly AF patrons and they validate the actions of main characters. Basically the relationship of Regina George and Gretchen Weiners.

4. The “ dumb ones” like Karen Smith. These are the newbies who mostly enter the spa out of curiosity. They can either be closeted discreet gay guys, straight curious, bi curious or still searching for his identity. Everybody was like this at one point. If you are gorge, chances are, you’d be the main course of the buffet and everybody will feast on you, and you will either hate it or love it. Be careful tho, because I’ve witnessed some older gentlemen corner I guy like this and ended up harassed. He got out of it tho so thank God. 

4. The “outcasts”: basically the chubs and older gays. You know they consider these kspas or saunas as safe spaces. But it’s still a public place, so most like, they would still encounter some harsh realities in life. They (or we) are the Oliver’s of the society. When they get lucky to have an action, they would be like “Please sir, I want some more” lol. Sounds funny and sad at the same time. Sometimes they get lucky, sometimes they go home with nothing, nada, zero. Most likely they would hope that some chub chasers or men with older tastes interact with them.

5. The “noisy ones”: these are the people that came in groups, they can either be college friends, or work friends and may or may not have the intention to play around inside, and if they do, mostly like it would only be with each other. They can also be those russian dudes or straight dads who got out from a golf or pickleball or basketball or what ever balls they played with except the actual balls that we all know and love (well you never know, some of them might be on the dl lol)

6. The “perverts”: these are the ones whose main goal is to really find a f*ck fest inside. Like every single time they see a potential bottom or a gay guy that looks scrumptious in their eyes, they would charge at it. They don’t know boundaries and they don’t care if people are avoiding them. They think that saunas are the same as bath houses, like it’s a free for all party. Be careful as they tend to get aggressive. 
 

7. I forgot to mention: “the exhibitionists” wherein they just stroke their member down there to show off but does not allow mutual touching or even touching in general, it can either be an annoying or exhilarating type of fetish for watchers. For these types of people, yes it’s a fetish, but could also serve as a double purpose of practicing safe sex. Literally. And with that I’ll add number.. 8

8. The “watchers” or voyeurs. That basically is like a fetish of them watching p*rn movies turn to live action. It can again also serve as double purpose for practicing safe sex. I sometimes belong on this category because either nobody wants to interact with you so you’ll just enjoy the view. Sad but you have to look things in a different perspective lol!

 

I actually have tons of other categories and sub categories that I can think of, but I’m hoping you would add on to this list and let me know your own POVs… I am just hoping that they can continue on making these places a safe space and not like as judgmental as it is becoming.

I enjoyed reading this. I spent a LOT of time in gym steam rooms and saunas, and then bathhouses, about the time I came out. I was kind of a terror.  I usually had some small bottle of some type of lube (although I rarely saw full anal at the gyms). One story that sticks out, the steam room was pretty crowded, guys were shoulder to shoulder, and I was next to a guy who I knew was playful. I slipped my finger into his ass & started fingering him; too many guys for him to react very much but I could definitely see him growing under his towel.

@francisssgorg quite entertaining! You should write more. I’m very fit for my age but still don’t have the balls to sit in a sauna for action or even go to a gay bar, even though my younger interlocutors often urge me to.
