This thread is a big hit on another board I'm on. No topic to this thread. If you got something on your mind and it's not a fit for any other thread or to start a new thread just share it here.

I'll start:

I went to the dentist today and need some work done that insurance won't cover looks like. Man, dental work is expensive!

You know what I hate the most about having to be at the dentist? Being forced to listen to the music of Christopher Cross.

The one dentist played country which I loathed! But the hygienist and dentist that I have now all play pretty good stuff, which is good considering I am having weekly dentist visits. My insurance ended up covering all the work I need done and I'm halfway through all of it. So I am very thankful to be out of pain and almost all better.

Tell us more! I want to learn that "Allen" is the recipient of amassed wealth, spends all of his waking hours exercising in his vast home gym in that said home, has the body of an Adonis, but zero social skills due to his obsession with his amazing looking body.

You become the first person he's interacted with since his school days, when he was but a scrawny kid that was merely lucky there were scrawnier kids to be picked on.

Sadly no. Just a random thought that my phone was listening in on.

If Alien displays his friends list, try to see if you have any mutual. If he doesn’t, think about the likelihood that some of your Facebook friends have a connection. He may simply be Allen, among persons you may know or a suggested friend, based on the algorithm of location and other people in the vicinity that are listed as your friends. The truth is out there.

So should the name of this thread be changed to the, wait for it...

"The Seinfeld Thread" as it's a thread about nothing (nothing in particular that is).

That makes too much sense. You kind of killed it for me. It's much more fun believing that our phones are reading our minds.

Yeah thanks for all the impending telecommunications ads in my feeds.

Stealing stuff from hotels is now costing guests immensely. According to a report in View from the Wing, people who steal towels from a hotel in Europe are being reported to the government and fined up to 15,000 euros (approximately US$17,600, or Rs 15 lakh).

Hotels are embedding RFID chips in their towels that aren't visible. However, it is not a new trend. But now, they are warning guests against taking the towels, or face prosecution, including jail time.

How did guests steal a grand piano from the lobby without anyone noticing?

A survey of men found that the majority of men are washing their penises wrong. Here's how to wash your penis the right...

Even though the standard medical advice, according to The Derm Review, says you should watch it daily, 21.6 percent of men surveyed fail to do so. 11.9 percent of respondents said that they only wash their genitals once every few days, and, worse, almost 10 percent wash their penis once a week or less.

That being said, it’s not all bad news — the majority of men who responded to the survey did say they wash their penis once a day (39.7 percent), and just about the same amount of men who responded they wash twice a day — but more isn’t always better, as there is such a thing as too much showering and overwashing.

“Washing too often can actually cause problems as well. The skin in this area is very sensitive and washing it more than once a day can cause irritation, dryness, and itching,” Elle McLeman of Derm Review says.

Still, worse than washing too often is washing not often enough, and Macleman points to the dangers of not washing your junk in blunt terms: “Infrequent washing will not only result in an unpleasant smell, but it is also a breeding ground for bacteria and can cause pain and infection.”

A bit random, but I'm going with the theme here.

I was driving down a road I have not been on in a long time. I used to go down this road riding the school bus. I drove past a house that it used to stop at and remembered one of the kids that road the bus. Let's just say his name was Allen. I haven't thought about Allen or spoke to Allen in years.  He was kind of in a different age group and not like one of my best friends or anything. But I knew him. I wondered what Allen was up to these days.

I got to where I was going and looked at my phone. I pulled up Facebook and Allen was the very first person on my recommended friend list. All this happened within fifteen minutes. I have never spoken about Allen or tried to find him on FB. Again, the only reason I remembered Allen was because I drove past his childhood home.

I believe in coincidence. But this was a little scary. Seriously, it's been about twenty years since I have seen or thought about this person.

Something similar happened to me a few weeks ago; a guy who I have been seeing over the past 5 years works for a company that has a foundation that is putting on a big fundraiser soon; we've been talking about it for the last several months, but the big day is arriving soon; I have never done an internet search for his company, it's foundation or the event, but now on my Instagram feed, I am receiving almost daily posts about the event.

Are our iPhones listening to our conversations?

For those who only wash infrequently, I wonder if they're washing any part of themselves during the interval?  Are they showering regularly and just not paying any attention below the waist?

I’ve hired two Black providers in the last two weeks, the most recent today. Both immigrants from Africa to Canada. I have to say they have the most beautiful athletic bodies. Both are runners. One goes to the gym as well. Both tops. Lovely guys. Great tops. Just sayin. Post coital bliss.

I’m no good at making the necessary links but their profiles are on RM based in Montreal. Oumi and Songo.

There was a cute guy that was an instructor at a health club I belonged, right after I graduated college in the Midwest.  He wore different florescent colored shoe strings on each shoe, pink on one shoe and green on the other.  We were friendly, and I went for a walk with him and his dog once.

Years later, after I moved to California, this same young man was murdered by a serial killer.  I was stunned.

I just saw  Songo again this afternoon and he is a real keeper. Very adventurous in the bedroom. Bisexual and not keen on kissing but he makes up for it elsewhere.

Yes thank you. Same to you. I have so much to be thankful for. And I try to pay it back each and every day.

May I ask, is Thanksgiving celebrated across Australia on the 2nd Monday of October?  My Internet searching and Wikipedia are not clear on that.
