I have never met a provider who didn’t look like their pics, but one thing I have noticed is that some have not felt like their pics- for example, a stomach that looks rock hard in pics and in person, yet is soft to the touch.

Of the men I've met through RM, I've not had concerns about fakes or photoshopping. But some of their pics are obviously dated. I don't think they're intentionally misleading; it's as if they have just left up old photos as they've added newer ones. Nothing drastic in my experience, mostly differences in hair styles.

For the most part I am pleased with photo representation. Things I have learned to watch out for/avoid:

1. Photos taken in weird angles, showing partial body parts. This is a trick used to cut out flaws. If you can’t mentally assemble the whole body in your mind, it’s because the provider doesn’t want you to.
2. Bad lighting is also a trick. Don’t fall for this.
3. Look for clues about the photo’s date (fashion, background, upload date). Using a five-year old photo usually means the guy isn’t proud of his current look.
4. Extreme musculature is hard to maintain. Expect the provider to have just a little bit more “flab” than that ripped beach photo. No one walks around with their abs flexed 100% of the time.
5. A provider’s marketing material (photos) are often indicative of his integrity. If your initial thought upon meeting is “you don’t look at all like I thought you would,” YOU SHOULD SAY SO AND FAST-WALK AWAY WITHOUT REGRET. You were lied to.

I may be in the minority here.  Perhaps I am just lucky, but the providers I have met all look better in person.  I even tell some of them that “you don’t look your age” and “you should update your photos to reflect reality.”  They look much younger than their reported ages on their RM profiles even though I am fully aware of the prevalence of age shaving on that platform.

So far, everyone I have hired has looked like their pictures.  A few listed their age as much younger but the man I met still looked like the advertised picture.
