Mr. B&B “Clothing Optional

May sound like a dumb newbie question, But what does “clothing optional” entail when staying in a private home?

Not speaking from experience, but I'd guess it means the hosts are nudists and you're welcome to be naked when staying with them.

Yes.  Or, the host may keep his clothes on but allow the guest to be natural, if he wishes.

It could mean black tie or suit. At least it did at the last wedding I attended. Black tie optional

I've been eyeing Mr B&B for travel lodging.  Some of the ads explicitly say that clothing optional only means nudism is tolerated.  A few of the ads came close to hinting that the hosts might be looking for sex partner guests.  

A few ads even include a section labeled: LGBTQ+ Kinky Amenities like this one in Austin, TX.  But you have to pay a $79-per-year subscription to have access to that area. (I haven't.)

It’s a digital services platform, so some aspects are implicitly obligatory and I think most would find it more convenient with panties off.

That's more likely to happen if it's both clothing optional and a shared bed with the host.
