My two cents, or less (as I am a top/dom myself).  Lot of red flags on this one: 

1.  Payment up front is a small thing, so just a pink flag, but a flag nonetheless.

2.  The Mystery of the Altered Account is a big red flag.  You can still read the account of possible theft, because other board members pasted it in their replies.  The About-Face of Afterfallhours (a relative newbie) raises more concerns unless there were a really good explanation.  

3.  The note from Mike Thomas, who has been here for a while, strikes me as a genuine endorsement.  Other encounters are by newbies, including one who reports that the provider is a clock watcher to end all clock watchers.  

This may be a great find, but I'd proceed with caution.  Await intel from more experienced board members like Mike T.
