Roger Smith Posted April 2 Posted April 2 (edited) Not sure if this is too niche a question but I’ll give it a shot… When it comes to anal sex I’m 100% top, but I’ve always struggled with sensation issues. I love the act of penetrating another man, but sometimes the actual sensation makes it hard for me to cum. Thankfully the prep revolution helped immensely. Now going bare with escorts seems to be almost entirely the norm. Praise be! But now what I’m finding is that the lubricant is diminishing sensation. Especially the kinds that a lot of bottom providers insist on using. And lately I’m finding that going without lube gives me just that little bit of friction I need to get off. Can anyone recommend particular providers - east coast ideally - who are amenable to going without? Is this something that others have explored? Edited April 2 by Roger Smith NYXboy 1

Prioritizing that extra bit of sensation at the bottom’s expense—especially if you’re well-endowed—can be uncomfortable or even harmful. Lube exists for a reason, and going without, can cause real issues. Use saliva - something!! If the goal is mutual pleasure, it’s important to consider what works for both partners, not just what maximizes your own sensation. KeepItReal, + PhileasFogg, MscleLovr and 6 others 7 1 1

Yes, saliva is definitely the ideal alternative to store bought lubricant. It’s also excellent because it encourages the bottom to periodically pause to return to oral service. d.anders Posted April 2 Posted April 2 1 hour ago, Roger Smith said: too niche I've never been a fan of lube. I learned to view it as a necessary evil. When I see it being used in porn, it's a turn-off, especially when the actors do no-edit oral without washing it off first. I know it can be a challenge to experience, but arousal can produce natural lubrication. Great foreplay can sometimes take care of the rest. Those are the instances when sex reached an all-time high for me. I wish I had someone to recommend, but thanks for conjuring fond memories. Walt and + Vegas_Millennial 1 1
+ KensingtonHomo Posted April 2 Posted April 2 The lack of basic sexual biology on display here is mind boggling. Rectums do not naturally lubricate. Asking someone to bottom without lube is not only selfish, it’s potentially harmful as you’re more likely to tear rectal and anal tissue. DCLogan, BaronArtz, + ApexNomad and 5 others 6 1 1

A favorite act for confident bottoms. This is delusional. But I sincerely hope you’re washing your dick when you pull it out of a guy’s ass before expecting him to suck you off. I’m an extremely confident bottom - with three decades of experience. And on behalf of my brethren, please know that what you’re interpreting as “confidence” is actually someone either ignorant of the risks you’re exposing them to or too desperate to say no. thomas, MikeThomas, MscleLovr and 3 others 4 1 1

This take reeks of entitlement, like condoms and lube are just inconveniences to the almighty top. Confidence isn’t demanding sacrifice; it’s ensuring mutual pleasure. Strafe13 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I hear what a few of you are saying, and as a dedicated bottom who sometimes likes them big, I appreciate your advocacy on my behalf. But we all have our kinks, and there are some people who like dry (or at least drier) intercourse, and that goes for tops, bottoms, and versatiles. I don’t think the OP is asking about intentionally hurting or degrading the bottom escort he’s looking to hire. I read his post as asking for recommendations of escorts who provide, or are at least open to, lube-free sex. As long as all of the activities between sex partners are consensual, is it really our place to pass judgement the way it seems some of these responses are doing?

I'm sorry, but maybe some of you who bottom and douche regularly have reached Sahara Desert status of the butthole. In my 20's, I never needed lube for anal sex, especially after a run or a gym workout. My sweat mixed with everything else was perfect. That is how I learned to enjoy gay sex. In my 30's, I had a massage therapist who loved 20-minute butt play with no lube or oil. He was gentle and sensual as anyone could be. He absolutely loved getting me worked up. The first time he climbed on my back to slide his erection along my butt crack, his x-large condomed cock accidentally slid right in. No oil, no lube, no spit, no scream. He was more surprised than I was, but that appointment was the beginning of a fun relationship. I never bottomed very often, but he was not the only massage therapist I shared this experience with. I admit my bottom days are long over, and I'm more careful now about my butt than ever. But my memory of elevated sex has not left me, and I hope it never does. 19 minutes ago, Strafe13 said: I don’t think the OP is asking about intentionally hurting or degrading the bottom escort he’s looking to hire. That is exactly the tone I got from this post, plus I could relate to the issue personally. Causing pain or discomfort in any way is a turn-off to me. In fact, if a guy is fucking too hard in porn, I can't watch. Kenny and + Vegas_Millennial 2

Again, this is not remotely how human biology works. Neither douching nor bottoming "dries out" your butthole. Douching too often or too close to sex can remove some mucus, which can be beneficial. It's also why over-douching or using anything but water is not recommended. And if you expect a bottom to douche, then you also better expect to use lube for reasons previously mentioned. If you're going to have gay sex, please learn about how it works. + Vegas_Millennial, MikeThomas, + ApexNomad and 1 other 1 1 2
StableMentalDefective Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Is your sugar and pressure within normal parameters? A loss of sensation could be a medical issue… NYXboy 1
+ Vegas_Millennial Posted April 2 Posted April 2 (edited) As an experienced (okay, slut) bottom of over a decade, I now no longer need lube for most men. Just a good tongue first to get me wet, then I'm good to go... Especially with men with foreskin! But alas, I am on the West Coast, so would not be ideal for the Original Poster. Your man is out there... Ignore the repeated comments from men calling you selfish or dangerous. Happy Hunting! I have played (as a Top) with several Bottoms that didn't use lube other than spit. But, alas, none on the East Coast. One massuer in New Orleans used to ride me on his massage table using only HIS pre-cum as lube (this guy could fill buckets with his pre-cum). Alas, he no longer offers massages. Edited April 2 by Vegas_Millennial Added info about other Bottoms I know + ApexNomad 1

But I have heard that regular douching is not a good idea. I had no idea what lube was until I moved to NYC. Even if I knew about in the 70's, I wouldn't have known where to find it my home town. My teenage butt was lube free until I turned 24. Even then, it took me years to settle on Astroglide, and I seldom needed to use it. I kept it around for the bottoms I was fucking who had really tight holes and screamed if a finger merely touched it. What a joyless pain they were. Edited April 2 by d.anders + Vegas_Millennial 1
