+ EVdude Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I was dubious at first with Noah Wiley in a seeming reprise of ER, but after 12 episodes with 3 to go, not surprised Max has already ordered a second season. It’s a great urban medical drama. And so bingable with each episode an hour in a single day shift, much like the series 24. Total believable chaos, great characters with interesting arcs (over a single day!) and the medical accuracy “seems” impressive (I’m not a doctor) but it’s in your face bone, bowel, bile and blood. Check it out. MikeBiDude, AtticusBK and thomas 1 2
MikeBiDude Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Yes I started watching it right away and have really enjoyed it!
d.anders Posted April 4 Posted April 4 It has gotten great reviews. Lots of Hollywood people were praising it on the red carpet at one of the recent awards ceremonies. They always ask, "What are you watching now?" I was a loyal ER watcher. That show launched a lot of solid acting careers. There was nothing like it on TV at the time. Folks who worked in NYC heath care could not stop talking about it. Sadly, I can't bring myself to watch a medical drama at this point in time. It bites a little too close to home. I see way too many doctors. I always thought Noah Wyle was adorable and very talented. I'm surprised he didn't have a much bigger career.
Nightowl Posted April 4 Posted April 4 Excellent show. The medical jargon gets a little overwhelming but it doesn’t get in the way of the plot and character development. I’ve watched all of the episodes that have been released so far and the most recent ones are intense and very moving. The cast is terrific.
shinj518 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 It's such a well done show, im enjoying it quite a lot and am glad they didnt stop at just 8 or 10 episodes like so many other new shows now. The cast is excellent, and the real time one hour an episode format is also pretty cool. + EVdude 1

So right.. after ER I followed him in five seasons of Falling Skies but not much after. Never watched Leverage: Redemption but notable that a new season starts on Prime just a few weeks after The Pitt season 1 concludes.
MikeThomas Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Best show I'm watching right now. thomas, AtticusBK and MikeBiDude 2 1
+ poolboy48220 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 A friend recommended it last weekend and I'm on track to finish it within a day or two. It's very good.
+ g56whiz Posted April 11 Posted April 11 I am enjoying this great show, but I have one problem with how it's structured. Episodes are divided by hours which means not all story arcs are com0pleted by the end of the episode. If I go to be soon after, I lay awake as my fertile mind conjures up several story ends yet to be seen. I've taken to trying to watch midday.
fancyboot Posted April 14 Posted April 14 They talked about The Pitt on Science Friday on NPR last week. It gets high marks from ER staff across the country in terms of it being realistic. I think it’s a great show and Pittsburgh is a good setting IMO. thomas, MikeThomas and + EVdude 2 1
