+ Twinkluvr Posted February 13 Posted February 13 (edited) DC showed me the vrnmo history and chat exchange. This guy was definitely trying to scam and got money for doing nothing. Tried same deposit scam with me. Apparently he can’t schedule a time without a 100 deposit. Edited February 13 by Twinkluvr + glutes 1

From what I know, he asks for a deposit for an outcall because in the past he has been ghosted when he would take an Uber so he tries to cover his expenses. Not sure, what exactly happened there with DC but I can understand why he asks for that deposit. + glutes 1

Unfortunate because he generally had positive reviews, but trusted this guy with a deposit when he indicated that he was traveling to the same city I was traveling to at the same time. Turns out, he had not already bought the plane ticket but was trying to secure enough clients to pay for it. Sent 200, then he asked for more money to buy his ticket. I told him I was not willing to pay for entire ticket. He requested I send via Venmo friends rather than business (which is not refundable). I started getting suspicious and asked for the return since he had not already secured the ticket, which he (finally!) returned minus service fees. About a week later, he disputed the charge and Venmo sent money back to him without my consent. Now my Venmo account is frozen because it is in the negative. Tried to resolve this with him, but no cooperation. Hopefully he will amend this and not require me to post convo and screenshots of transactions. I like this guy and hope he makes a better choice. Hello everyone, Gringotuyoo here. I'm here to clarify my side of the story as to how things went. I do not want people to assume things about me based on an unfortunate situation. I went back and forth on deciding if I should be coming and explaining the whole story with details, but because I'm stressing about the lies, I'll explain. I had planned to travel to Denver but I hadn't checked the flights or booked the tickets at the time. I nevertheless announced that I'm going to travel to see if there are folks interested and if it's worth visiting Denver. I had shared this already with him and he wanted me to visit him there. We started talking but then he was asking too many questions and the conversation became exhausting and uncomfortable. In my profile I have already shared a lot of information about myself precisely so that later people don't ask me more of the same thing. Many a times people talk to me to warm up and masturbate and waste my time. I began to think that this gentleman was one of those so I asked him for a deposit. He sent me 200 by Venmo as "products and services", which I found suspicious because with that option he has the opportunity to cancel the transaction. So I asked him to cancel it and send the deposit again as "friends and family". He replied saying that he could no longer request a refund for it. So he sent me a request for 194 which I accepted and sent (discounting the 6 dollars of fee) as "products and services". From the beginning he was a very problematic person, then he wanted me to pay for the flights which makes sense because I had planned to travel before he talked to me. Anyways, he also said that he wanted to spend a full day with me and would only pay in the end if I was obedient and did everything he wanted. Then he said he has no cash, no Zelle, not even Venmo and that he only has a credit card and that he could only pay by cash app. It is well known that all scams are done by cash app because they can easily cancel transfers. So after all these red flags I decided to avoid this person. The 194 I sent him are currently in dispute and neither him nor I have it. Anyone who wants to receive proof with screenshots of Venmo transactions and the current dispute can talk to me privately and I will gladly show them. To me, the whole situation was not looking good with him having no intention of paying, scam me and just wanting to take advantage of me and get away with it for free. I would like to think that it was only a misunderstanding but with so many red flags it was difficult. I spent too much time talking to this gentleman for absolutely nothing. Then he began to communicate with other folks and say things like my photos are more than a decade old and other lies that would prohibit others from meeting me. He also threatened me- "you don't know who you're messing with" and other nonsense because I supposedly scam him while he is trying to turn things around in his favor. I am a friendly and polite person with good intentions but this gentleman has tried to paint a completely wrong picture of me. I’m not vindictive and I'm willing to take the high road here. Despite what has happened, I can send him another deposit, in addition to the one in dispute just so that he stops bothering me. PS: this gentleman has agreed somewhere in his post that he wants me to rectify and clear things up but he never told me that he was going to talk about me in this forum, nor did I have knowledge of this forum. I only found it out by chance after several days. So the intentions of this gentleman are evident. His intentions were that I would never find out about this forum, so he and his friends could lie about me. I would appreciate if he can let me know if he wrote something bad about me on other pages here so that I could, at least, provide my side of the story there. I also want to clarify that, although I ask for a deposit for outcalls due to prior bad experiences where I have gone to the site and people never showed up, I also give other options without a deposit such as coming to my place or picking me up. DavidNY Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Omg, I’m having Deja vu with the interaction I had with Theo. Justin just get square with the guy so you can fix this. This is a stupid amount to be squabbling over, and your reputation as an escort is stellar so far, everyone loves you! This guy just wants to be treated fairly. If it was a mistake, then both of you can call Venmo together and fix it. ansh0620 and Asterisk 1 1

I don’t know why Justin would think I made this all up so ‘me and my friends could lie’ him. If I wanted to make something up to destroy his reputation, I could certainly do better than 200 bucks lost in a Venmo shuffle. If somehow this is an error on my part and the lady from Venmo told me wrong, I will offer a sincere apology while I eat crow. Yeah, in the big scheme it’s not a lot of money, I just hate being scammed and not standing up for myself…especially when they try to make you look like the bad guy afterwards. It’s such a disrespectful way to treat a potential client. On my part, I was pretty angry when I found out what happened so I apologize if my initial text to Justin confronting him came off as too pissed. I did tell him that I would assume it was a mistake and that he would fix it. Either way, the dispute is in appeals with Venmo and I now disputed the initial deposit payment so hopefully they will resolve it since it seems Justin doesn’t seem to be responding to my invitations to discuss this directly in private. @DC Guy 92 Not blaming you but he is the sweetest guy I know so reached out and asked for the screen shots. With his permission, sharing them here. I still think, it is some issue with Venmo since in your screenshot it shows that he requested and got refund on 3rd whereas in his screen shot his refund back to you gets completed on 4th. I will try to see if I can get that to verify with him. That aside, I think he felt really hurt earlier how things were spiraling out so he blocked you and it is up to him if he would want to speak to you. marylander1940 and BonVivant 1 1

Lol, the lesson from my experience is NEVER GIVE A DEPOSIT!! Particularly a non refundable form. Now when I fly guys out, I buy the ticket for them with flight insurance in case they flake. Also, keep the pay at the end of the date policy and explicit agreed expectations. Gringotuyoo is a great escort and I’m sure this is a big misunderstanding on both parts. Stupid Venmo! DC Guy 92 Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) Actually, no, he still hasn’t cleared things up despite his offer to “take the high road” and return the money he got for a trip he never took. Venmo account still frozen. Thank goodness I didn’t give into his insistence of sending cash in a non-disputable form. I’ll get it back eventually, but sure has been inconvenient. Lesson learned, no deposits even for escorts with a good rep. Won’t be falling for the “I’m traveling to your city tomorrow” scam again. Will definitely let you guys know when he does clear things up. Takes Venmo 3-4 weeks to resolve a dispute , so still got a bit. Edited February 17 by DC Guy 92 sunnysideup 1

His response only makes it more obvious. But I guess I’ll get back to masturbating to the 18 text messages of him trying to scam more money out of me, since apparently that’s how people “warm up” to him. And maybe in Spanish “he looks just like his pics” translates to him thinking I said his pics are a decade old…but my Spanish is a little rusty. Just a big misunderstanding, huh? DavidNY Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I love that he said “he never told me he was going to post on this forum “ after he blocked you, and you made a clear invitation for him to contact you directly. I think you should un-hide the post you hid to be gracious. This guy changed his name for a reason. Also, every escort I’ve ever hired has taken Cashapp. I guess I could understand if it was at the end and he wanted another form of non-refundable payment, but for a deposit? No. Asterisk 1
