Dan Savage gives very insightful sex and relationship advice.  He's been doing it for decades, first in a print column and then as a podcaster.  And, he's very funny!

I used to listen, but haven't the last few years, just because of time.  But  I like him a lot.  I saw him at a restaurant and told him he's fantastic.  He very dramatically and Gayly said, "Oh stop!" with a big smile.  Great guy as far as I can tell.

I've been a paid up magnum subscriber for a few years, but like @Rod Hagen recently listened to it less. I first came across him some years ago when he was a speaker at the Sydney Writers Festival, and also appeared on a number of discussion panels on TV. I still enjoy his podcasts when I do listen, and also his commentary on LGBT issues.

He kind of gets the Barny Miller reference wrong, that it's a gay couple on that show, not a single gay.  That couple was unapologetically written as gay, which at the time was commendable for a network show.  Barny Miller treated them as worthy characters. But yeah, that doesn't fit with the Dan Savage story about swishy, hysterical gay dudes.
