I have by several, and if it helps for them to know I’m a serious client and if I trust the provider I don’t have an issue with paying it, their time is just as important as mine. A bit like restaurants. The only time I did it the guy said you don’t have to pay but I may end up being booked. It made sense. It’s not an easy gig. Especially with NYC overheads. Agreed.. and the reason why I don’t mind to pay a deposit is because once I booked an appt with a guy and as I was headed to his place he text me and said he had to reschedule because he received an appt from a regular that offered to pay more, I was pissed because I was literally on my way, and in my experience with the guys I paid deposit to my spot is always secure.. luckily I never had anyone run off with my deposit so to speak but I always make sure to only send to guys that are heavily reviewed and seems to be a legit provider. pubic_assistance 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
