Do fetishes change as we age, or do we just discover fetishes we've always had and never knew? I used to think feet were rather gross but now my goal in life is to be the world's biggest foot pig. I think your perspective definitely changes when you see likable people enjoying things that previously seemed off putting. Some things that attract us we don't even think of as fetishes--they simply seem like natural preferences to us--until they are pointed out to us as fetishes by someone else. Some things don't become fetishes until after we have experienced them. Some people can't enjoy sex without the presence of the fetish, and for others the fetish simply enhances the experience. Some fetishes we don't want to really experience at all, except as fantasies.

Yes, in my experience my fetishes changed when I got older. In my (late) teens my fetish for men's underwear & men's swimwear was very intense: intense masturbating in thongs & other under/swimwear. In my twenties I still enjoyed this fetish but it was less intense. Nowadays I still have this fetish but it's not that intense anymore.
