I went to high school in Rochester NY.  It is one of those kind of towns that a lot of people don't leave after they finish their education.  Whenever I went back to visit family, I was always surprised at the guys that I knew in high school who turned up in the gay bars.   One of them was a wrestler who had a jaw-dropping physique.  He also had an unusual face that made you think of a bulldog or a pug with striking blue eyes.  I wasn't that attracted to him in HS but years later - when I saw him in a gay bar, I just thought "Wow!!"

I am an expert on straight men and you have it right. Open minded straight men will have sex with men gay men find revolting because its never about the other man to the guys. The other guy is never hot but the experience is hot. Alot of gay men just cant understand this!!!

Source: i have a countless cadre of straight athletes, military and blue collar guys(i even hook my friends up) i deal with. Let a few benjamins ruffle together and call me Houdini

It's funny because two of my closest friends in college were pretty serious wrestlers and they are 100% straight and they swear up and down that there were pretty much no gay wrestlers. I just think they were oblivious because they had no idea about me until I told them at 30. And they were from towns where I think a gay teen might actually be risking his life by coming out.  They don't really think those aspects through.

I actually feel its the opposite. Gay men seeking out wrestling can be disastrous. You are basically dry humping the most beautiful men in revealing lycra. Unless you are taking meds that prevent erections you are walking on a tightrope.

Also alot of straight men who are truly straight are truly oblivious to gay men who dont fit the most obvious stereotype.
