I wasn't judging, just asking what the going rate is. FWIW, I've since received quotes from other guys in the range of $350-$450.

He's definitely an outlier. I've never been quoted above 300 pounds in London and I've hired many 8s and above.

Sexual desire may be a special niche exception to supply and demand like the rachet effect. But in the long run it should even out. We won't know until there's a severe downturn for potential clients. Gay normalization increases the supply as does camming, imho. 

The economic surprise i get from provider close friends is that clients seem to be paying well over the asking price and that is what is almost doubling usual rates. Some do it as a sudden 2nd hour, some as a special service, but many just to make an impression or out of sincere appreciation. $350 quickly becomes $500 or $700. 

I'm a big believer in the generational wealth transfer from 2 Boomer parents to the single child going on now very fast as a result of both normal death rates and earlier estate planning transfers to decrease tax. The middle class may be dying but that "bouggie" class has gone from 5% to 10% rapidly and that's the main consumer of these services. And since it's "easy come" inheritance money it's also "easy go".

But, honestly, from what i hear a lot of, it's the clients upping the normal pay (a lot) now.
