Genuine opinion? We Cali folk don't have a problem with people sharing opinions but we do have a problem with people who can't take criticism for stating said opinion. 

I'm a tall guy, 6', and it's my opinion that short people are less attractive than tall people. The difference between you and me is I can sympathize with shorter people and understand that it's hurtful to state that publicly and expect to be challenged on it.

Do you really think you should have some special ability to state whatever opinion you want without being challenged? 

One final note: lookup the drama cycle. We can easily get caught up in the cycle of abuser ⏩ victim ⏩ hero. I try and distance myself from these mental roles. Because I'm pretty sure Hitler saw himself as a hero, Kanye West thinks he's a victim, and you seem to think you're the hero. Who are you saving and why?
