Northeast US Braces For Worst Wind Chil in Decades

I remember the last time, about forty years ago. I am checking for homeless cats here in Philadelphia

Here in North East Canada its the same weather, very cold but sunny. 8 below zero F this morning. But its a brief cold snap and by tomorrow is expected to ease. 

So far it has been quite mild this winter but my heating bills are double last year's so far because of the increase in natural gas prices.

Grave concern for people living on the streets in  Boston and Manchester.

I confess my mom's much older  brother died on the streets of Boston  from alcohol  and freezing temperatures.

He had worked on the Panama Canal

We were down to the upper -10's wind chill last night and this morning in Buffalo. But the actual temperature has been rising all day and we'll be back above freezing by late tonight. Then we'll be in the mid to upper 30's and low 40's all week.

I live downwind from you and the temperatures will start rising overnight and into tomorrow. Back to over freezing by Monday.
