Tonight was also the Cybersocket awards, and reports I've heard mostly boiled down to "sparsely populated". (Granted this may be because they were sparsely publicized.)

Things should be jumpin' tomorrow, for the Hustlaball tho.

>Ok Boys how is it going in lost Wages with Hustala Ball and

>CDS and all that fun stuff we want full reports.

Hustlaball was a waste of time. The organizers/promoters were severely disorganized. The doors were supposed to open at 11:00 PM and had barely swung open after midnight. The lines were huge, and around 12:30/12:45 people began giving up and going home before getting in. (Including most of my friends.) Inside, early, the crowd was sparse. Around 1:45 or so when the show started, the place was full but not packed. About half were Vegas folk and half were from out of town. The first third or so of the show was great, after that it just dragged on. The crowd had come to dance, and the show dragged on until 3:45 or so, by which time most of the dancers had departed. There were a lot of porn stars/working boys/etc present, but most didn't seem inclined to talk to "civilians".

Apparently, no one told the Blue Moon about the after party, because people showing up for it were turned away and told only hotel guests and one invited guest per room were allowed. I went to a different after party at some guy's (large, spectacular) house west of the strip. About 200 people showed up. The liquor (and who knows what else) flowed and in no time the heated pool and spa were full of naked persons cavorting about. I was impressed that someone had liquor for that many people. Ended up being a guest bartender for a while, and got invited in to a steam room full of highly attractive & naked persons for my effort. While no names were exchanged, a few asses & other body parts did look familiar. Watching the sun rise over Vegas from an indoor hot tub was kinda cool. Left wearing someone else's pants... If mine turn up, have them phone home. Now that I think of it, I wonder where my car is?

After sunrise, the crowd started thinning out. People sort of crashed in the media room & watched porn for a while. Word spread of an after-after party at another home nearby so I stopped by to check it out as well.

Hustlaball was a waste. Definitely the high point was playing "Spot The Narc" with Benjamin Nicholas. (If you ever find yourself playing any game with Ben, hold out for good prizes.) Word was that Krave was jammed with undercover cops. We made it our mission to out them all. (Had to, the party was lame otherwise.)

Next time, skip Hustlaball and just head for the after parties. Thanks to whomever hosted the first one. It seemed totally impromptu. Not a lot of people have enough alcohol, condoms and lube for 200ish people at a spontaneous party. Fewer still would invite in a herd of people you mostly don't know. Who knew you could get pizza delivered in Vegas at 7:00 AM?

Must have been a good night. Didn't get back here until 10:30 AM or so. Planning on going to the Gypsy around 10:30 tonight for the festivities there. Hope there's an after party!

WOW EBG-You are a real 24 hour Party Person!!!!!

Why is the Las Vegas PD so fucking homophobic? Why are they allowed to get away with it.They have WILD parties all the time at the Palms and Babies at the Hard Rock,,,,lots of nudity, lots of hetero sex going on in the corners/bathrooms.And they never get busted.

Glad you found a rich gay guy in Las Vegas who was "out"enough to have a wild party-good for them.

Hello,

How long was the line at the Benjamin Nicholas photo and autograph booth? Bet it stretched to the Gold Nugget.

Was Anna Nicole with him too? She must have been a riot!

Did he perform? sing? dance? strip?

I didn't see him under the stars section at hustlaball.com. I expected him to be featured at the top of page. It must have been a rentboy oversight.

Howdy Guys~

I kept a low-profile at the event and spent most of my time walking around, shaking hands & kissing babies and generally just soaking up the experience. It was interesting & fun indeed.

Anna-Nicole was in attendence at the prior night's performance of Zumanity with me, but decided to keep it cool and spend the night away from the party scene. She's probably headed to the after-party at Gypsy later tonight...

Big thanks to EBG for keeping me in great company: It was awesome to see you again and you're looking QUITE well kiddo :)

Look for the full report in a late-tomorrow-evening '15 Minutes' posting. All i have to do now is find someplace here in Vegas that will burn adult images onto a CD for me. I'm not so sure the pics i took at the event are 'ready for primetime.' lol.

Warmest Always,

Sadly, I didn't make it out on Friday night as planned. I had been up, non-stop, without the aid of chemistry from early Thursday to midnight Friday. My CES adventures on Friday just wiped me out. Went to dinner with a friend Friday night. Came back to the hotel, took a shower, started getting ready to go over to the Gypsy and realized I was out of gas. So, I slept well on Friday and will resume fun on Saturday night.

>Why is the Las Vegas PD so fucking homophobic? Why are they

They reflect their employers--the people of Clark County. The gay scene here (Vegas) has never blossomed much. Even though a ton of gay people live and work here, everyone seems to keep their head down pretty much.

Actually, my friends (again) took care of me. Stick with the circuit boys for after parties. I think they just follow their noses. :+

All in all has been a fun trip so far. More to come tonight. The batteries are fully charged now.

Would have loved to make the Gypsy on Friday. After no sleep, no nap on Thursday, by midnight Friday, I was flat out of gas. CES took a fair toll.

Thank you, thank you. Wonderful seeing you again. A delightful surprise. My only question remains: Did we spot all the narcs?

If you hang around Anna-Nicole, we may have a mutual friend in the Anna-Nicole entourage.

So, BN, where's the party on Saturday night?

BENJAMIN NICOLS,

I really hate I didnt get to meet you while in Las Vegas, I didnt see you at all. I guess your profile was too too low, I guess we just meet when I come to San Antonio. Well its hard to even recognize people in such a large group too.

Well, this was my first Hustler Ball an sad to say, proberly my last.. the show started entirely TOO LATE. THIS IS A DOWNER to an anticipated crowd which will then loose interest very quickly & turn to a sour mood especially if the show is not really of high quality entertainment. Yes it did DRAG on too long, I only participated in performing at the event an was at the booth on one day. I didnt attend any parties mainly because I am not a party animal, also due to my tight booking schedule while in Las Vegas. But overall I was disappointed with how late this heavly advertised Hustla Ball. I was expecting everything to run close to smooth since so much was required of the entertainers. I can say Tom Weise did a great job with accomadations, compensation, and travel to an from venues & gym w/ free shuttle service. I guess thats why I was so shocked at how late they started the show. I suppose it had somthing to do with Krave having another show booked call "Fashiontopia" or somthing like that..

The host hotel was the Blue Moon- I heard there was a party there on wends night, this was my first time ever at a GAY resort. lol well that was something to see, felt kind of wierd being at a hotel when they know what your doing. Even though I met my clients all outside an walked them in with me like we were just friends hanging out, also walked them out to there cars. I felt this was much needed because of the hotel we were in. My clients really appreciated it.

I did get a chance to meet some really really nice people who had came introduce themselves to me while at the show.

well I must board my plane now.. heading to phoenix.

Granted, things did start a little late at HB 2005~

That's not to say that the event itself wasn't a success, as the guys onstage & off seemed to be having a ball... Literally and figuratively ;)

Both Brandon Baker and Tom Weise did an OUTSTANDING job of coordinating the event, keeping it on-track and keeping the entertainment back-to-back. I can't imagine how tough it was to get this whole shindig together, but hats off to those who pulled it off. Krave really looked good that night.

I'm waiting to post my blog until tomorrow in hopes of getting some images sent to me from the events this past week in Vegas.

Familiar faces i saw at HustlaBall included ChiChi LaRue, David Forest, Jason Carter & Sierra Andrews, Brandon Baker, Michael Brandon (the nicest guy in the industry), Frank Marino, Joey Arias (along with some 'Zumanity' cast members), Josh Weston, Bobby Lane and many others. It was a good evening to come out, have a bit of fun and really appreciate & support eachother in and around the sex industry. Very little drama and lots of positive vibes.

The afterparty at Gypsy was super-crowded, but had a good overall vibe. I didn't stay long, but noticed a few familiar faces and met quite a number of new people as well. Gypsy sure filled up quickly. Shoulder-to-shoulder in no-time.

Warmest Always,

>But seriously, i didn't see the event as anything close to a

>failure. For me, it was fun.

Oh, that's cool (and Spot The Narc does sound like fun). It's just that in your blog post from Friday, you referred to Hustlaball as "a most enjoyable evening of debacle." Since debacle, as you know, means a total, often ludicrous failure or fiasco, I guess that's where I got confused. I just assumed you were reveling in their misfortune. :p

Yes the event was not a failure at all. The show starting late I dont think had anything to do with the producers of the event Tom Weis because everything Rentboy did for preparations for the event was 1st CLASS. I think it was totally Club Krave that was the hold up. But because of such a delay this will detour a audience attention span. I was standing in audience an 2 guy in front of me turn away from stage said "watching the audience is a better show". I think they were just totally over it because it started late, but critically speaking I must say the MC's didnt do a good job to pump & hype the audience up for the show. Even the driver for the shuttle who watch the show said the audience was dead...

just my thought
