What's the normal procedure for an overnight? When they are done at a hotel? Anything special or unique? What's the rate for an overnight (I guess on average) in NYC especially when I am having to get a hotel room?

To answer your question more specifically: New York has probably one of the more expensive markets. As you will note from this site, most clients would suggest that you look for well reviewed and well regarded escorts that appeal to you and then from this group contact some to find out both their availability and rates. Rates will vary somewhat by escorts. You will need to consider what it is you seek in determining whether the price merits the individual experience.

 

Once you have selected one escort, what you might do during your time together should be discussed. There are some obvious choices, like a play or dinner, but you and he might have other activities that are more mutual desireable.

 

The important thing is to enjoy yourself and keep your expectations realistic.

An empirical rule of thumb for an overnight rate seems to be 3 to 5 times the hourly rate + meals and entertainment. NYC will find rates quoted for a little as $500 but more generally $700 to $1200 and as high as $1500. Find escorts that have a web presence that list extended appointment rates, eg. a Jasen Rhodes, or contact them for their rates.

 

At these rates you need to exercise care in your choice. It is best to do a short term appointment first if you haven't seen the escort before. Escorts with multiple solid reviews are always a BIG plus. However, even solid reviews are not a fool-proof indicator of chemistry between the two of you. If you cannot do a short term prior to the overnight it is prudent to spend some phone time to determine how well you two will click. That is a lot of money to piss away a long 'cold' night.

Overnights can be a lot of fun. As someone else mentioned, in NYC, the rates tend to be VERY expensive (for example, just look at Campus's overnight rate of $1600...which will just about buy a whole WEEKEND with some great escorts, even in NYC). Many of the independent escorts (who are sometimes better than the agencies anyways) are a lot more reasonable, so it pays in more ways than one to do your homework.

 

Be aware overnights can have different meanings too. Some escorts will include afternoon/evening of the first day and then the next morning to midday included, while others will hold it at a strict 12 hours. You also may get more bang for your buck if the escort does in-calls, but that seems a little more rare and it sounds like you probably aren't looking to do that.

 

As far as procedure, if you're asking what usually happens, generally in my experience it involves something along the lines of a nice dinner, another activity (shopping somewhere or a movie either out or in the room, etc.), and of course quite a bit of intimate time.

I would look for someone who has been reviewed for doing overnights. The conventional wisdom is to try an hourly 1st with someone, however, I haven't found this all that helpful and in many situations, it's not practical.

 

Some escorts are great at doing an hourly & having some conversation. An overnighter really requires something different. Even if you want (& the escort is willing to deliver) lots of sex, there will be a time for hanfing out and time for eating, entertainment, etc. and the two of you should have compatible likes & dislikes in these areas and both of you need to be comfortable getting up to speed socially with a stranger. The better escorts will initiate questions on these topics if you don't.

If hiring from an agency, usually you can ask the rate. Then you can negotiate from there. I always give a big tip to the escort though, assuming he was good of course. They don't always get that much from the agency.

I've hired lots of NY escorts (all shapes and sizes) for overnights and have never been burned, but some evenings have, of course, been better than others. You can tell a lot about an escort from emails and phone conversations. Oddly, I can get a better feel from emails.

My overnights usually start around 6:00 or 6:30 with drinks at the hotel, then usually a show and dinner afterward. If not a show, then dinner and maybe a club. The overnight usually ends after breakfast, unless he has to get somewhere early. Best case scenario, the evening turns out to be "a great date". You should plan on spending between $900.00 and $1200.00 for a really good escort. You might also think about importing an escort from out-of-town (D.C., maybe). Their rates tend to be lower and train fare is pretty cheap.

Since you're going to be spending the entire evening with the guy, I've found that it's a good idea to find out what HE likes to do. If you're going to a show, find out what he's seen or what he's liked; what kind of food does he like; does he drink, etc. The more information you get him to respond to, the more you can tell if he has a sense of humor (very important to me). As I said, I've never really been burned, but then again, I don't think I'm very demanding as a client. You should always tell him what you'll be wearing, so he'll be able to dress accordingly.

I think you are asking if the rates are different if you get the hotel or not... Remember....the rate is for the time....not necessarily the place. Some guys like to go out all night. Others like to stay in all night. I have even had guys stay at my place overnight. Then they realized that a 5 star hotel is much better...hehe
