I talked to him last week.  I'm not looking forward to him going back to the office as I'll miss our day time encounters.  If I was a terrible person I'd wish for another big wave of covid.

I’ve been on these forums for several years now, and commented on dozens of guys, and for what it’s worth, @Enchanted’s post matches my own experience with Trev, word for word. I had a similar conversation with him about his plans. I hope this isn’t his last trip to NYC, but if it is, I’m pretty sure he’ll make it memorable for me and the other local boys!

That ain't going to happen. I was one of his early engagements and we had two dates, including an overnight. At dinner he told me what his day job was. To hold that job you need to be very well educated and given how long he had had it you need to be good.

That thread still exists - '411 on this Canadian bodybuilder' - or something to that effect.  But the link to the video indicates that the video has been removed by request of the copyright owner.  Perhaps he was not aware that it had been posted and then was able to get it removed?

If I recall correctly, the vid had an “onlyfans” or one of the other subscription platforms watermark. I believe the vid in question has since been removed from the free porn site. There are a number of such performers and providers that don’t show face on publicly viewable sites but will on subscription ones.

This Trevor/ Top Rated guy seems like a catch, based on all the platitudes here.  He’s also got great photos and an enticing, well-written ad.  His price is a bit high, but not by a huge amount, and it’s understandable for traveling escorts, given the high cost of lodging in NYC, plus his having to deal with the exchange rate.  I don’t mind the lack of a publicly posted face pic, nor do I have a problem with having to initiate contact with him through the rentmen messaging feature, since he says in his ad that he switches to phone to finalize a meeting.  
 

All the above sounds like I should schedule a meeting right away, right?  Of course!  So, I initiated that process earlier this summer but ran into my own personal red flag.  Trevor requires prospective clients to send stats/detailed description (not a huge deal, really) , AND photos of themselves.  I can see why some escorts might want to know what the client looks like, and based on his ad and his reviews here, the guy doesn’t seem shallow.  I’m willing to compromise on a lot, but  that’s just one step too much for me.  Sending out photos to prospective escorts, before you’ve seen them and develop a bond, just send way too risky.  It’s a shame — the guy seems perfect in so many other ways, though!

He told me a horror story how he had been sent on a wild goose chase in a very humiliating fashion because somebody set him up.  It was a fake person, and they sent him to a fake address. So now he asks for pictures to make sure that they match the person that answers the door. In fairness, he sends a picture when I asked. He then also completely opens up and will give you his phone number in just about anything else you ask. I think it's fair that he is security careful because he is taking a lot of risk and he is now a Target because he is highly rated.

Thank you for your detailed response.  Having a good explanation for the otherwise outlandish photo policy does make it seem more reasonable, and less worrisome.  I’m going to strongly reconsider my own anti-photo exchange policy, at least for this particular situation.

I consider that a lapse of judgment. If you are trying to avoid exposure in your workplace, then you shouldn't be making porn videos, even if they are intended to be private. I'd put that in a similar category to teens sexting each other.

When I first decided to hire earlier this year for the first time, I made a client profile on RM. Why? 

I can't imagine walking into a room or situation where the other person doesn't know anything about the other person at all -- profile text or even a single picture. Maybe I am unique, but I would never engage with a person where I can't at least have a base level understanding of the person you're about to engage with. 

Case in point: I'm chubby and a bear. Not obese but a big dude. Lots of people would call me fat and that's cool. I don't care. I also love crazy built bodybuilders who spend all day in the gym with no body fat. So when the math is done, I really don't want the escort I hire to walk into my place and not be able to get hard for a 'fat' guy. I'd rather there be a mutual attraction on some level by exchanging pictures so he knows what I look like. I put forward something about me and they can see it and decide to engage. It's a win all around. Does that make sense? I think it does.
