Years ago I contacted him, via text, about a possible overnight. I gave a  brief description of myself and what I was in to. Sometime after the exchange (I think it was a week later), he texted me out of the blue. He asked me had I changed my mind and was I ready to send the the pictures of myself. I again told him I wasn't comfortable with the request. That was the last exchange I had with him.

With all that said, maybe something happened to him and he was trying to be safe and ensure I was real. I don't know. Again this was many years ago. And at the time he did not state in his ad, he wanted pics as he does now.

Just an aside @big-n-tall but would compliance with that request be enough to protect him if a supposed client turned out to be law enforcement?

I couldn’t say for sure. I mean I suspect no. Lol!

‘The thing is since he never explained why he wanted pics of me, I could only see 2 reasons why he would. 1) to screen me by body type. I did give a description of myself (albeit brief), so it would seem kind of redundant to ask for pics. Well other than to verify I was telling the truth about my physicality. 2)  he was trying to use the pics as some type of verification to protect himself.

Of course, this is all moot because I wasn’t going to send him pictures. If I had known beforehand about his pic requirement, I’d never would have contacted him. I do appreciate that now he’s upfront about it in his current ad.
