Is it me or were there more authentic actual straight guys in the biz before the popularization of provider sites? Who remembers luminaries like Trulyhuge the 350 lb nfl player? How about Androkid? Soloflex kc? Dr Mike? Scott Klein. If im leaving any legends out remind me. Sadly many of them passed young as well

Is it me or are guys like that gone for good? You know that kinda guy you see walking down the street who looks badass and everyone is talking and you think there is no way he is available and he is. The one exception was probably Colton who also passed. Its like we cant have nice things for long.

What happened to all those talent agencies that had numbers in the back of newspapers did they all just die out? They would spit out new guys every season needibg money for child support, probation or to fund their bodybuilding career and as soon as they vanished a new set came. Is it politics or what? Their are prob more transmen and non binary types now. Has the ease of technology made this industry less adept of hunting the archetypes?

The ease of money transfer and home filming via only fans and just for fans has made it so remarkably easy to make money with such little effort that these glorious bodybuilders who put so much into the gym can expand their financial reach across the world as opposed to their local  state/ city area. The cream rises to the top and you can make a very significant amount of money and not have to face the pitfalls of escorting. So many more guys are going for that so those who choose to escort in person now are either scammers, not that hot, those who can't make it on those sites and the rare, genuine sex pig who wants to get paid for sex with strangers and gets excitement out of the unknown.

Buffdaddy agrees. But that may change with the new IRS tax laws. All that income must be reported. Many of these guys have no clue. They have no knowledge of what the laws are. If any of you are familiar with the Findom scene many of the Cash Masters as they are called are trying to circumvent the new IRS law on third party ways to send money. Cashapp, Venmo,Zelle, PayPal etc. Some are looking to get paid in Amazon Gift Cards, others believe it or not are now looking to do real meets. Let's see how things shake out this year when Uncle Sam comes calling. I just talked to a very Hot muscled kid from Long Island. Trying to recruit him for Club work on Long Island. He said he makes 6 thousand a month on Onlyfans and selling his videos, why should he work in a club make less money, have guys touch him.

I said to him have you been reporting your income to the IRS  the answer was why should I.

Then making private videos and selling them online is another red flag. You just can't make porno and not abide by the law. Yes some of these guys are just posing and flexing.

Give it some time but I think they will return. They are a greedy bunch that don't like to share their money.

You guys both sound like pros who been around for a bit. Im not as optimistic they will b back. In the old days they were recruited through well established pipelines. I think the air of anonymity was a factor. If a farm boy from Iowa moved out to la who would ever know he was hanging around schmo bars? Technology makes the world smaller and that can work against discretion

. At one point a good 20 percent of military guys were available and many were having sex openly on video with men (see awol marines) that would never ever happen now. Even the supposed straight guy porn of today imitates the authentic stuff made by legends of the past but now they just use actors. Also most gay men dont even like straight men that much anymore. They are seen as limited when you can do everything under the sun with another gay dude. There is an older subset of gay men who only mess with straight men but todays generation doesnt believe in gender and labeling so anything kinda works. Straight men cost more and do less but its worth it for rhose where straight guys are just there thing and alternatives dontvdo anything for them. Those kinda clients are not in abundance anymore so i dont see a resurgence. Hope im wrong though

I'm not a creator so I don't know how it works, but given that sites like Onlyfans collects the money, takes a cut, and then distributes the rest to the creator, doesn't Onlyfans have to issue that provider a 1099 at the end of the year?  I don't see how it would be possible for someone to avoid claiming that income to the IRS.  Well, maybe they can simply avoid filing a tax return for a short while but surely that will catch up with them eventually.

Thank you Studchaser. I completely feel the same way. Such a shame. The current marketplace is very disappointing, but maybe we're not looking in the right places?

One of my biggest regrets was not hiring Dr. Mike. And a guy named Val who I believed danced with him.

VAL AKA VALENTINO...He was incredible. And loved what he was doing You just gave me the vapors just thinking about him .

Yes, they do.

All people who earn income are required to report it and pay taxes on it to the IRS and pay into Social Security and Medicare. Whether they do is a different story.

But back to the topic: I don't think there are fewer straight guys working as escorts, but instead there are more guys in general working as escorts. The result is/could be the proportion of straight guys vs the overall population has diminished because the overall population has increased.

Men who were used to quality in the daysof old now accept anything. Why put in the work to find a real football player or marine? Just get a transman oe twink and have rhem model in kockstraps or camoflauge. Hut hut semper fi. We cant go out that way
