Can anyone help me understand massage ads

I am confused about these massage ads on escort sites. They charge slightly lower than sex but much higher than the professional massage you would get. So my guess is that it cannot be just sex because it's cheaper. So what is special about the massage service offered by these hot men? Is it more expensive just because a sexy guy is doing it? Or is there more to it, like hj at the end etc? Is it usually done naked? What kinda value do these massage providers bring to the table? I feel like it's either better to hire an escort for sex or an amazing massage for less...

There is no short answer to this. It depends on the site you are looking at. Your best bet is to look at the profile and see what the masseur wrote about himself and his services. Maybe reach out and ask.
 

Escorts that advertise as “masseurs”, in my experience, are not really masseurs but rather available for massage as foreplay. 

 

Masseurs that indicate “erotic massage” are usually okay to get naked, enjoy mutual touch and you will probably get a happy ending. “Sensual massage” is the wild card - there may be no getting naked, no mutual touch and no happy ending.
 

You have to be discreet and ask.  If you assume you will likely be disappointed.

Agree with FrankR's comments, also, in a decent number of cases where you might get, at most, MT and HE, despite paying an escort price or nearly, the premium being asked is basically for the guy's good looks.

Ask him. It should be a great massage (proper attention paid, on a massage table, using good oil, with discussion about health conditions that may impact massage etc) and done on whole body (no avoiding bum, cock etc), usually with the masseur naked. He will explain limits in terms of mutual touch, and it should include at least a happy ending (described as release or some other euphemism).

Sometimes the masseur can’t be explicit in his ad for legal reasons, so read between the lines and ask. 

I describe my massage as sensual and it can include everything, depending on what my client wants. But it definitely includes a proper thorough massage. 

If my client wants sex with no massage that’s a different service and only done on out call.

In many cases, I think the advertiser is using the ambiguity to their advantage, and it’s totally on purpose.

To be a good escort, a guy needs to be able to find the appeal and attractiveness in just about anyone that hires them. That’s simply not the way many of us are wired. Speaking for myself, I know that I could never be an escort because I have a fairly narrow range of physical traits that turn me on, and if a client didn’t appeal to me I would be unable to perform.

So, I think that some guys advertise as masseurs so that they can provide a full escort experience to clients that meet their criteria and just give a body rub to those that don’t turn them on. If they’ve just advertised massage services, even with a some suggestive ambiguity, the client is really in no position to complain if the session doesn’t get sexual.

This can work the other way, too. Arguably, giving a good massage is a lot more work than sex. Sometimes, I think it’s pure laziness that motivates a masseur to steer a massage to sex… it’s simply easier than giving a good massage.

I think some escorts advertise as masseurs because the "massage" is the only foreplay that will be expected, and no BFE is necessary either, so the expected performance is greatly simplified.

Great infö shared. Here's how I kind of see it. I use the same few websites, so if I see them on one or two, I read their profiles and any reviews. If they're on an escort website and the others, I typically assume there's more flexibility. But, I tend to chase the thrill of the unknown. I'm okay with paying for an experience, I often just hope it's worth it. If you're ever confused you should do a quick search up here or just ask. It's likely someone has at least made contact and can set expectations based on what they know. If you are opposite of me and don't want the thrill but specifics, then ask. No greater disappointment then showing up and leaving unfulfilled after you've spent money. It's a business and some do take advantage of the gray area. I've had great experiences, horrible experiences, and normal experiences.

When you find someone whose profile, self-description, credible experience, physical appearance, and reviews do not cause you hesitation, come here for a 411 with name and city. Do that reconnaissance before, and use opportunity in the forum for confirmation from personal encounter.

He may have another profile for escort services, which means you are more likely to get a release, but never a guarantee. 

I don’t know about you, @young11but I keep my eyes closed during massage. I had a blind masseur at a spa once - lights stayed off, and it was fantastic massage. No recollection of him beyond how good his work was. I’m so in need of a good massage… a few more weeks

Or sometimes they just want to be picky about with whom they have sex.  These are the YMMV guys.  With one client all he gets is a massage and a disengaged HE.  The next client might get rip roaring sex, and maybe even more than one round.  And there's everything in between.

I think that's always going to be the case.

Even if someone isn't necessarily very "picky". If they like you, you're gonna get special treatment. I think a pleasant demeanor and good tips can also get you moved ahead. Not just good looks. For people who want a quick-fix and move from one provider to the other, you're not necessarily going to get special treatment, ever.

But the reason I am asking this question is because massage charges are not much lower than escort rates. Of course I enjoy a good massage but I can get that cheaper if I go to professional places. But if I hire someone from online massage service with good looking guy, I want more than massage. But that's not guaranteed and no reason to believe that these random guys can do a good massage comparable to professional places. So I wouldn't be very happy if I don't get anything special for paying a substantially higher rate than the normal massage places.

I’d hire someone who posts ads on both Rent Masseur and Rent Men but hire them as an escort and let them know you want to start off with a massage and then move on to X.

Massage is a good way to meet...and if you see they are flexible in their business models you can discuss other interests after your massage.
