Good news!

2020 was a severe lockdown when discretionary spending was very low. People spent much more on discretionary spending in 2021 coming out of that lockdown and have the ability to since they saved so much in 2020. As your experience, it looks like we're back to 2019 levels even though we're not back to prior normal otherwise. I've seen a story or two that at least in Europe, people have spent about 20% of what they saved in 2020 in late 2021. I'd suspect by now it's higher. (and Americans aren't known for saving more than Europeans lol).

If Omicron is as harmless as people hope and no other disaster appears soon, I'd expect a big spending upswing by spring. (until we spend our savings up especially soon).

Great graph.

If we’re sharing graphs…here’s my revenue from massage/escort work over the past few years. The impact of lockdowns and such are evident (spring 2020, start of 2021) but it recovers so I’m still around…

This graph excludes justforfans subscription revenue which tends to benefit from lockdowns. So the revenue streams are complimentary in terms of smoothing things out. That happened by accident but I like to think I planned it that way 😂9C802DC9-B5AC-48AF-B746-FC5CAADB2BBC.jpeg.eaddf59404e4449957097729658e2c27.jpeg

46% of 2021 revenue came from the year’s top three clients, up from 39% in 2020.

I knew I'd enjoying reading the posts here, but as a math nerd I'm loving the figures and graphs!  Keep them coming!  lol

Just curious, is the above typical for providers (or at least established ones)?  Such great insight.

I must start tracking revenue by client! Got to look after your best customers. There’s some regulars (as in every couple of months) and plenty of 3 or 4 times a year. It’s fabulous to see regulars because I’ve learned so much about what they like, and it’s good to catch up with what’s happening in their lives. I think if you’ve been going a while you’ll build up a group of regular clients.
