I’m striking out lately. 
Just had Sebastian and it was just okay. The massage skills weren’t that great tbh. I went in thinking it was going to be amazing based on reviews here, but I’ve had so many incredible massages that this one was kind of lackluster. Plus he had a hangnail that I kept feeling scrape along my back lol.

Had a similar experience with Sebastian. Finally got a chance to see him since he’s usually booked and I was underwhelmed. Maybe my expectations were too high based on everyone else’s reviews. I wasn’t expecting the most therapeutic massage but the flow felt a bit awkward and the extras were fun but kind of meh. Maybe he had an off day?

The flow was def weird. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by really great massages and amazing chemistry that this just didn’t do it for me. I mean, I started to think about Lucky Burger across the street mid massage and what I would order. 🤣

Within 10-15 minutes he insinuated HE and asked me how much I was willing to tip, I gave him a number and he said that’ll only get me a massage. Immediately got turned off and his voice filled with utter disappointment when I paid (with tip added still) at the end did not help.

Sounds like Jon needs to be spoken to by management and/or find a new job!

For massage sure, he’s great! But extras - expect a conversation 10 minutes into massage by being poked and being taken out of the experience. Maybe it’s helpful to just say what you want before he starts and what that would be in terms of tip. For me…that’s less enjoyable. I like the organic and natural flow of things and that’s part of the allure. And I’ll tip well if it’s great. The negotiations kill it for me.

I agree about negotiations within the massage time.  Total turn off and immediately I just say "no thanks, just a massage", I give a tip that I would for a normal massage, and I don't return.

Had a massage at Hk with Chris -- massage itself was very underwhelming focused on just my legs and back and before I know it, it's been 50 mins. The worst part of it all was the negotiation/tipping. Unexpected bc I've never encountered that from HK before and a bit of a let down.

Geez these guys are at it still😡you’d think with some many of us telling them we don’t appreciate this, posting about this kind of bad behavior and not giving into them would be a big enough hint! I do not tip well when they do this to me, and I never return to them. They end up losing! So sorry you had to deal with this BS!

Also, the expectations for a "world of everything" might now be attached to him given all the high praise. I highly doubt someone can provide it over 5 times per day. Many of the other masseurs don't have the same standards.

Makes me wonder if as a client, we could be proactive with the negotiations prior to the massage. Get the business out of the way up front so that the massage can continue without killing the vibe.
