Disappointing encounter

Man, just had a massage. He had good technical skill but it was very mechanical and "going through the motions". It was so obvious he was thinking of other things I was unable to really enjoy myself. 

Then he cut the session short at 40 minutes (I had booked for an hour) and had the audacity to ask me to leave a positive review. 

Normally I don't say anything if it's a bad experience. I just take the loss and take my business elsewhere but because he explicitly asked I told him how I really felt and that that would be what I would say in the review. The usual justifications were offered by him "the session only goes until the client cums" and he only does "a full hour on the massage table, not on the bed". 🙄 (I always wonder at such justifications, how would they feel if I paid for less than an hour?) 

I was already feeling sad and now I'm more sad. Ugh. Anyway, I am going to leave an honest review.

Not sure if this counts as a review since you didn't mention the disappointing provider, but I don't know if the rules have changed on submitting reviews in the forum.

I don't think leaving a review on this site would be relevant. I hired him in Madrid.

That sucks this happened to you @Wolfer. His justification is just utter BS. I have had experiences where after I came, the provider went back to work giving me the full amount of time I scheduled for. Those are the ones i have on my repeat list. Let me absorb some of your sadness and I’ll channel it through my workout session. 😝. Sending positive vibes your way.

Exactly. I would have even been happy with just cuddles and maybe some kisses to fill the remaining time. But nope, I came, he got the tissues, threw on his pants and left the room.

Did you complain about it when he said it was over after just 40 mins?

Where you expecting a HE?

I feel you brother. For some of these guys it's just finish and go. That's why you need to treat the ones who really do give 100% like gold.

I did complain, that's when he gave his justifications. The HE was part of the session, yes.

There is no justification for cutting the time you paid for by a third. He could have massages your scalp or feet after the HE, which feels lovely and even more relaxing.

I would have docked his fee by one third and if he dared to ask why, explain in a polite, concise manner that his business practices leave much to be desired.

I guess he assumed once you came it was over... is understandable when someone hires for a massage.

I don't think he deserves a negative review but you seem determined already.

Don't beat yourself up too much @WolferWe can shake hands cause I recently had a first time massage with a masseur highly recommended on this site that I had such high expectations for and I left disappointed and unfulfilled.  I promised myself that I was not going to share my experience with anyone and just keep it to myself as a one and done.  We parted as friends and I didn't express what I really thought.  Maybe it was me, high expectations, but a true example of YMMV and that's why I'm reluctant to recommend a masseur to another guy who may have a completely different experience than me.  It's unfortunate but it does occur even when you've done your homework.

Masseur’s experience for me must be at least 6 years. The shorter the career, the more likely a mid-session burnout fap fap bye now.

I'm really not a stickler for time; if the massage and extras were phenomenal, but it only lasted 45-50 minutes, that's OK with me.  Quality, not quantity.

I am generally of the same mindset. I tend to stick with regulars and sometimes we finish in less than an hour and sometimes it is over an hour. But I might not feel the same way with a new guy.

Yes but the massage was mechanical. I felt like he was thinking of what needed to be put on his grocery list while he was massaging me. Also the "extras" in this session weren't extras, they were all agreed upon beforehand and the fee was set accordingly by the masseur (he uses à la carte pricing). He didn't give me surprise extras that weren't already included in the price. If that were the case I might also have been more lenient.  

But I do have an issue with time, especially with massages. There really is no reason not to give the agreed upon time. I don't think we would be good clients either if we did not pay the full agreed upon price after the session.

The use of a la carte pricing is a warning sign. Tells me he’s only doing the work for the money and not also because he intrinsically enjoys it. Hence the mechanical massage style and indifference to timing. I’m sorry you experienced this. 
If my client cums early in the session I carry on. Sometimes they cum again, sometimes not but there’s still lots of feel good work you can do on him to make the session memorable. 
Before you give a bad review contact him and tell him you were not satisfied and see what he does. You can mention his response, if any, in the review.

I did bring it up with him when he asked me at the end of the session if I could leave a positive review. He looked annoyed and said he could give me table massage for an hour next time with half an hour on the bed to make up for it (no mention of price though, so he might as well have upped it). I was not interested in repeating a mechanical massage. He was dismissive and irritated at me bringing it up (although props to him he did try to hide his irritation. You can tell when someone is forcing themselves to stay friendly.)

A la carte was the wrong wording. He has tiers. He's an escort with professional massage training and he offers therapeutic massages to full sex sessions. His price is determined on what tier you want (therapeutic being the cheapest). But yeah, it really felt like he was phoning it in.
