Does anyone else feel that that has become less popular and that most of the escorts now are much less likely to fall into that old "classic beefcake" category?

A good example that recently retired was Ryan Steel.

My guess is that with the decline of muscle-genre porn sites, the effects of the pandemic, and the growth of sites like OnlyFans, there's not going to be a great many muscle worship guys that want to offer their services, especially if these men are often times straight.

I'd love to hear your stories about encountering any "muscle worship gods" from the past... from what I've heard, a lot of these men were great.

Also, Happy Pride Month to everyone!

One mans muscle-God is another mans troll.....  Its all in definition and perception of the label.  While many guys HAVE muscle, they can hardly be considered Gods...

And I am certain there will always be ALL types of guys around to entertain you if you have the CASH and patience to search ?

A couple of the biggest guys I used to see pre-COVID have dropped out of the scene — no gym access, no gear, general quarantine related stress — but it’s too early to say what the “new normal” in muscle worship will look like. Ask me again in a year!

Tony Callandro was the best. Incredible physique, super smart, nice guy and he truly loved being worshipped. Does anyone know if he still makes himself available at all, or has he completely retired?

I'll second that.  @MascFitStudis my favorite as well....actually, he's my regular go-to.  After an unbearably lengthy hiatus from seeing him, I had an incredible overnight with him last weekend.  Awesome guy.

I don't think it's vanishing. Maybe it's just perception because muscle guys have always been a rare breed. Not everyone has access to steroids and time available to dedicate multiple hours at the gym. I actually see new guys all the time. If anything has reduced it might be because of the pandemic and the fact that some guys are scared of the potential side effects when their cycles are not well thought.

There are less guys wanting to be a muscle beast or freak bber in my opinion.

It takes a lot of work to get here and stay freak size. The pandemic did a spell on my bbing which closed gyms or sold them off. back six months in gym but slow progress.

I was also surprised, from reading, how financially expensive it all is.  The costs for healthy meal items and dietary supplements alone are staggering.

Yep. You are right. I had to take second job stripping 2-3 nights a week to cover my bbing costs for competition. Luckily, then next contest I had a sponsor who funded my bbing monthly for 8 months prior to contest.

If I didn't have sponsor or work as stripper, I couldn't have done contests and grown into a beast of a bber.

I want to compete next year and if I don't get a sponsor, the costs will be prohibitive for me.

Several people mentioned good factors.

  • It's expensive to bodybuild
  • The pandemic shut down many gyms/bodybuilder events (not to mention potential day jobs)
  • Most practitioners are straight

Honestly, I've been to several bodybuilder sites, but have yet to find any who would be interested in anything more "intimate" than muscle worship. Surely, there has to be a place for the "schmoes" to hang out and find aspiring bodybuilders looking for a few hours well-paid work....

There use to be one. He went by the name Jed (south african) was a straight bodybuilder but he was very open to trying everything you asked. He retired now. Nice guy

i’ve also just noticed on twitter how the rise of amateur porn is causing men to want to fantasize about men who look like themselves. i think that as the connections between mental health and body image are made clearer and clearer people are working harder on accepting themselves as-is more often. idk i could be talking out of my ass but surely this has something to do with the lack of men who are driven to completely change themselves past normal human standards of stature and build into the gods worthy of worship we used to see a lot more of.

We're looking for providers, not boyfriends.
