unlike Bali, where I'd be more concerned, the capital Male would be my only worry as in Maldives most resorts are waaaay out on their own secluded atolls only reachable by seaplane.

Good morning, guys! Sorry I did not get back to you all before but as soon as I came back from the trip, I spent almost 2 weeks packing and just finished unpacking. I moved from one city to another. I am glad everything is fine now.

Yes, the trip happened and it was amazing. I was in Chicago for 5 days, loved the city, and everything. I used the advices you guys gave and thankfully everything went well. We spent some quality time together and also had our private times too. We did a lot of tour in the city, went to restaurants, etc. 

Again, thank you all for your time and kindness. You guys helped me soo much. And again, sorry for my delayed response.

Although rarely exercised it is technically illegal to transport someone across state lines for certain purposes.

Best to exclude any discussions of what services are being provided when traveling in this case.

You never know when there's a shifting political climate and some local Republican Pol wants to exert a crack-down on vice crimes.

It was used to bring down the Governor of New York State - Eliot Spritzer in 2008. They never followed through with the charges but the allegations destroyed his political career.
