Log-in problem

Did anyone else have a problem getting in to this site earlier this afternoon? I tried repeatedly for about twenty minutes from both Firefox and Chrome, and got hung up with both, although I had no problem logging in to any other sites. I panicked and thought, "This is how it all ends."

Yes, I did - from around 7:05pm CDT today until approx 8:20pm CDT - April 19, 2021 - Glad to see it back online!

Me, too. And loading some posts were s-l-o-w ... and I am on a super high speed connection. Hmmm ...

So what do we make of this? The usual glitches? I had some slow moments here the other day, but they soon returned to normal.

Yup. I assumed that the site was down for good. I'm so glad that wasn't the case.

There were no posts from 7:45PM till 9:15PM ET. I thought it was gone forever.

The hosting company needed to take them down temporarily in order to resolve a problem with the server.

My first thought was the Forum is gone! Glad all is good for now. Let's hope the site remains active for many more years.

I had the same thought when I checked https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ and it said server was not responding. I was relieved when things were back up, and seemingly sorted later on.

Keeping fingers crossed this place continues ??
