I remember having WET DREAMS in my youth to ROBERT CONRAD in WILD, WILD WEST (Shirtless and usually tied to a pole...MAJOR HOMO-EROTIC) and ALL the LEADING MEN in JAPANESE HORROR MOVIES (except Raymond Burr)...ROBERT WAGNER in IT TAKES A THIEF...PLUS BRUCE LEE as KATO in GREEN HORNET and GEORGE TAKEI in STAR TREK (the shirtless swordsman episode).

WHO were your CLASSIC TELEVISION WET DREAMS OF YOUR YOUTH?!?!

Gardner McKay in ADVENTURES IN PARADISE.

Watched it every Monday night, 9:30-10:30. Jerked off 10:30-11. No matter that his acting was as wooden as the ship he cruised through the South Pacific. He took off his shirt in every episode.

Alas, he was quite straight, from what I hear. Became a writer. Died a few years ago.

They Re-Run the Old Gene Barry Detective Series on Cable once in a while. The Guy who played his sideick.."Gary Conway" was a Total Hunk!

He was one Photogenic Man. I think he also was in the Series with the "Little People"? I do remember these shows were Re-Run for years! ;-)

The aformentioned Robert Conrad - but I go back even further to Hawaiian Eye days.

Van Williams Surfside six

Clint Walker Cheyenne

Willam Smith Laredo

Denny Miller - Wagon Train

It seemed like there was a beefcake movie on every Sat afternoon too- Hercules against the xxxx so Steve Reeves and all the lesser Hercules, most of their names escape me, except Mark Forest, were inspiring.

Gordon Scott and Mike Henry in the Tarzan movies, and going way back Buster Crabbe and Herman Brix aka Bruce Bennett

And actually quite a few Star Trek episodes featured scantily clad beef, and not just the crew of the Enterprise. Mike Forest as Apollo, Ricardo -Corinthian leather - Montalban as Khan and a host of others. Those are the ones that pop up first.

Ah the good old days when I could beat off three times a day and still be horny.

Somehow, I missed Robert Conrad on "Wild, Wild West" when I was a kid. Sounded too western for me and with a lesbian for a sister, it was "My Friend, Flicka" and "Bonanza" and strangely enough, "Sky King" all the damned time... But I have seen it since and how in the Hell did he get his pants so friggin' tight? Geez, what a great ass...

For me, it was Bobby Sherman on "Here Come the Brides" and David Soul, too....

And David Cassidy.

The SECRET about Robert Conrad's pants on WILD, WILD WEST was that they were ACTUALLY sewn ON TO HIM for certain scenes. They couldn't feature his buldge... (BIG NO-NO those days. RE: Robin's Tights on BATMAN)..SO they FEATURED his ASS!!

THANK YOU GAY COSTUME DESIGNER!!!

I got turned on by Robert Conrad, too. Don't forget Clint Walker, star of Cheyenne. Monte Markham was a great character actor, too, who gave me a hard-on. Peter Brown of Lawmen and Laredo was hot, and I was too young to buy a magazine when he appeared nude. And, of course, we had William Smith, who spent 1/2 his career shirtless.

But no one took his shirt off as much as Robert Conrad. And those tight pants!

Oh, yeah, Peter Brown and even later on on "Days of Our Lives"

And Davey Jones from "The Monkees"

And ashamedly, Jack Wilde from "H.R. Puf N Stuf"

Must have been something about the accent.

And Paul Lynde, Wally Cox, Charles Nelson Reilly and Rip Torn and John Travolta... because I just knew it, dammit.

Oh this is so embarrassing...

For blondes, I liked Shawn Cassidy on the Hardy Boys.

Looking back, those blonde wings over his ears made

him look like a golden retriever.

For brunettes...would have to have been Matthew Laborteaux

who played Albert on Little House on the Prarie (this was

back when I was around 9 or 10, NOT now).

Here are some pics of the latter I just found on google.

I'm very relieved they do nothing for me now!

Boys, don't leave out two blonde bombshells: James Fransiscus from LONGSTREET (and, earlier, MR. NOVACK), and Doug McClure from THE VIRGINIAN.

And also Robert Horton from WAGON TRAIN! (I think it was Wagon Train.)

I loved the episodes where Heath would be captured and chained shirtless to a post for some reason.

Compared to real life, there is a lot of shirtlessness on TV especially in the 60's and 70's but only if you are young muscular and sexy. Really who wants to see Wilford Brimley without his shirt?

How about Lorenzo Lamas as Lance in Falcon Crest (before he mutilated his body with those ugly tatoos)

I recall one scene where he was climbing out of a swimming pool in a pair of Speedos. Took me two weeks to scrape the cum off of the TV screen!
