I had my first escort experience and want to share it with this group. I want to provide a detailed account of my experience without identifying the actual escort. Would this constitute as a review? The want to post it here instead of the actual review website because I want to get your thoughts on the experience.

I believe even if you don't name the escort, your detailed account would indeed constitute a review. The only way you could probably get away with a detailed account on the forums is if the guy stood you up. You can't review the date you didn't have but you could give the account of what happened that lead up to the non-meet up.

So your choices are you send the review and when it's posted ask for input. However, since you don't want to name the escort that option is moot.

The other option is to ask people if they want to know about your experience and give you input to PM you.

Ask one of the administrators or moderators. Go to "Members" then "Staff." You can send a private message. You can also report your own post (above) and ask the question in the report.

I thought a review is only considered a review if you name the escort. Isn't a definition of a review that you review something or someone for the sake of recommendation or not. If that something or someone is excluded, it automatically becomes an anecdotal experience? I was under the impression that you could share such experiences. Isn't that the primary reason this forum was invented? I'm not sure though since I haven't posted in a long time, and might not be up-to-date with new rules..

I’ve seen discussions in the form you suggest on this site before. Of course, we must yield to the administrator’s opinion, but describing an experience with an unnamed escort in order to get our input sounds acceptable to me. Since you’re not discussing an individual escort, I’d put the question in the Lounge. Proceed!?. I hope you get lots of good advice.

If there was some difficulty or problem with the experience @Palidod, I think it can usually be discussed here without naming the guy.

IIRC I’ve seen brief comments such as ‘I had a great time with (name of the guy). For more details, DM me’. A similar approach might be ‘I’d told him beforehand I’m a top/bottom but he said he wasn’t able to bottom for me/top me - what should I have done?’

I would also be interested to hear Admin weigh in here.

I’ve submitted a number of reviews via Daddy’s that never posted, nor even gotten acknowledgement of receipt. No worries, I get he’s got more battles to fight at this moment than most of us, maybe others have better luck?

M4M here, which used to be linked there, is completely separate from DR, I know. Is there another formal review submission process I don’t know about? Most of the info in the reviews I see at DR is basically just a cut n paste of the provider’s profile stats, or even less it seems, with little detail of the experience. Like a restaurant review “I dined at Maxim’s de Paris, in the Rue Royale, last Thursday evening at 9. They had food Items listed on the menu. There was decor around the interior, and chairs were provided along with the table. I asked for food, people brought said food to the table, and most was eaten”.

Makes me want to...go? Or not?

RentMen requires a VPN for US members to see their review details, so I neither read nor post there.

Admin: Why would a non-specific narrative here maybe titled “a nice evening” recalling, in some detail, what transpired in a meeting with

a non-named “_______” provider

in a non-named “______” location

on a non-named “_______” date

be considered a review, compared to info within unblinded 411 posts here that name names and a lot more?

It’s your sandbox, so I will accept your answer, hoping you don’t have to resort to quoting

EveryMomEverywhere,“...because I SAID SO!!” I realize we ALL walk a thin line within this hobby/job of common interest, and perhaps you can expand on that re your policy?

We can always DM the subject’s OP for the blind details if the read warrants, right?

Palidod, above, is new, had his first hire, and is all but bursting to share his experience with kindred spirits he may not have IRL.

I could be wrong but I have a feeling admin isn’t going to allow it. A detailed review even without naming names is still a review. Allowing it, on the forum, for a poster “just this one time” will open up a can of worms.

If the OP wants to share and get opinions from the masses, from what I have seen over the years, his best bet is to give some really basic statements (a few sentences), not name the escort, and ask people’s opinions.

if he must give details, he’ll either have to do a review or pm people.

There is also a problem with the word "detailed". What I consider "detailed" reviews haven't been allowed around here for years thus I haven't posted any reviews in years. Posting any type of review without naming the escort isn't terribly helpful to other participants on this site. If you simply want to post an experience and ask for comments tame it down and post it in the Lounge.

Interesting. I’ve submitted at least ten reviews to Daddy’s and all have been published. I wonder what you say in your reviews that might make them unacceptable. Also, I’m surprised you received no messages from Daddy. I’ve always found him responsive.
