No, life is about experiencing everything

I could not possibly agree more!

As my hobby has progressed I've learned to try many different things

It took me a long time but when I started meeting people off my “type”, I really opened some fun doors for myself. Don’t get pigeonholed.

Though I have preferences, I don't have a specific type. I've never hired anyone who looked like I did when I was young, though I've hired a variety of men.

Got any good stories?

Nah, not really. I was never very successful picking up guys I liked. ? That's the main reason I started paying for it at an early age whenever I could afford it. A lot of guys liked me when I was young, just not my type though. I found it frustrating. I'm a big guy so small very queeny men chased me and women did too while I drooled over the straight school jocks and military guys in my town.

I think I often hire the first guy that I had sex with.=, when I was 17. He was on the short side of average height, athletic build, dark-complected and very hairy. Obviously, I was already attracted to that kind of guy, but the experiences I had with him more or less imprinted me for that type. Also, in addition to being attracted to that sort of man, it was the type of man I hoped to mature into. I didn't make it, but I'm not unhappy with how I did turn out.

I think the OP @orville is asking whether we hire guys who look the way we looked when we were younger.

If we hire a 22 y/o, does he look the way we looked at 22?

I do hire athletic guys (mostly white), therefore I guess I do hire my younger self.

Guilty as charged!

But hung and muscled ?

In the case of discordant partners my theory is that despite belonging to different ethnicities, we might connect for longer (become regular) with guys who remind us of ourselves (mindset, demeanor, hobbies, life choices) when we were younger.

Certainly! And one more time thank you for this wonderful thread!

Hot it hot, no matter the ethnicity!

I would say that would be true in boyfriends, FBS and other unpaid partners. But for me, hiring is primarily driven by fantasy fulfillment.
