One code, in Austin, seems to be a new, good-looking, young guy, with "visiting" or "touch my body" or "genonly" in his profile. My failsafe is hitting on someone new who truly attracts me physically, then if they respond engagingly, waiting to get asked if I'm gen. 80 percent of the time, you'll get a request for your phone number or email, which means that you're corresponding with a con artist.

Yup. I only use it when I'm looking and for short periods of times then take it down. I'l keep it up for 30-mins to and hour and remove it.

I believe that they ask for your phone number so that they can look up who you are, get you to send a nude from your phone, then accuse you of having sent pornography to a child, and demanding money. Best case scenario. Some say that hey are looking for your phone number to defeat 2-step verification on one of your accounts. Either way, I never do it.

Just when I thought that perhaps I might be receiving an early Xmas present, he sent the following message indicating that he required some type of verification on "MMRM" before our rendezvous:

 

"MMRM is where I can check if you're not an lgbtq offender just because last time, I met someone here accompanied with guy. That guy have a gun and point it on my head and they robbed me. Nothing left on me, and it was traumatic.

 

And this MMRM is for the site to know who i am with so whatever happen to me they know where i am and who i am with, that's the very essence of it. Hope you got me."

It’s a fake profile will forward your information to an adult paying site. I don’t use Grindr anymore cause it’s literally infested with scammers and the scammers are getting better each time too.

It’s a fake profile will forward your information to an adult paying site. I don’t use Grindr anymore cause it’s literally infested with scammers and the scammers are getting better each time too.
