Unlike RM, one sees more straight providers looking for women. Also, at least in Seattle, more college guys posting ads. I wonder if the pandemic and the collateral economic damage is prompting more guys to place ads?

Mintboys seems really sketchy to me and I've not had any good experiences with it. And I laugh at some of the guys who post ads on the site especially the ones who are straight and are only available for women. Yeah, right.

 

I'm interested to hear if anyone had a good experience meeting someone there. Maybe it's just my area.

I guess I'm too strait-laced. But why does a straight guy looking to meet women have to state that they are a top? I mean I would think that's the default. Now if the guy was wanting to be pegged by a dildo -that's what I think should be made note of.

At least Rentmen conducts (some sort of) ID verification of escorts. It's not perfect but it's much more than what it's done by Mintboys. I've already had 2 attempts that became bad experiences with Mintboys, so that I know.

My most recent experience with Mintboys was with a young, muscular guy in Cincy who describes himself as Straight but is available for both men and women. Our text conversation was more like me interviewing for a job than him wanting to satisfy my needs. Our final exchange: Him: "You have Cash App?" Me: "No, just cash." That was the last I heard from him. I suspect that there was going to be some kind of pre-payment required.

 

 

On the other hand, one of the best Oral Tops around also advertises on Mintboys - he has one of the hottest (at least a 9-incher) "toned" (with washboard abs) bodies around and is a really sweet person. He used to advertise on Friendboy, but perhaps due to meager times is only with Mintboys (and A4A) currently. I have mentioned him in a previous thread. He is in Nashville but travels.

Yes, sketchy just like craigslist and backpage yet some on here loved spending hours searching for a diamond in the rough... while risking being scammed.

As I recall North Avondale was not always a particularly safe neighborhood -not as bad as Over-the-Rhine, of course. I hope you weren't thinking of meeting him there.

I may be wrong, but I think the only filter Rentmen applies that Friendboys and Mintboys do not, is a publishing fee. Unlike Rentmen, its alternatives only charge for the premium ads. Despite this extra filter, RM has not shortage of fakes.

If by filter you mean screening to stop scammers and fakes, Rentmen at least offers ID and Photo verification so those escorts that opt in can be considered more reliable. It's not a perfect system but at least much more than Mintboys and other platforms have. I suppose there will always be fakes and scammers in every business so we must also rely on our intuition and of course on Daddy Reviews.
