I'm still reluctant to pay over $300/hr no matter who it is.

Absolutely correct! If I was earning $200-$300 per hour I would be very pleased....At some point the price outweighs the benefit,

After awhile the number of new clients at a $400/hour will diminish. Get it while you can...there won't be any line to your door.

Interesting...and irrelevant in an entrepreneurial vocation.

Irrelevant?

Look at these two excellent responses that I copied from above:

Like the posters said above "Get it while you can"

If the economy goes south, the increased rates will make most clients disappear.

Anyone who thinks purchasing 1 hour’s presence with an escort is what they are “buying” forgets some essential details. For example, the escort’s prep time before the ‘event’ (2 hours?) and the post-experience (2 hours after) the escort spends on us.

A Good Escort needs about 4 hours plus the face time with the “date” to prepare himself and then unwind from our 1-3 hour experience. Any other expectation on the escort increases the potential of dating “crazy”, um, NASTY Crazy!

Which turns any $300/date into a $60/hour compensation.

Frankly, I don’t want a date with a guy who sees more than 2 clients per day. I know some might have more than 2 dates a day but they will be NASTY/WASTED by #3 if I’m as good a 1st or 2nd client as I wanna think I am.

If you think about 2 one hour dates per day, 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year, you’d expect escorts earning $150,000 a year. Frankly, I prefer fucking $150k per year escort to a $40k per year hooker. But, if the hooker can sell the dream, more power to his tired ass.

The $150k per year income is barely a fabulous income considering all the peckers and assholes involved.

I’m certain $150k is 2 or 3 times the mean escort income, but DAMN, I’d be proud of the guys making six-figures.

Seems the going rate for the upper crust escort.

Thanks for the response. It does seem that several years ago 250 was standard with a few charging 300. Glad they are making some good ? money. I just need to be sure the escort is right for me before spending that kind of money

One of my regulars did an incremental rate increase, but since he paid his own Uber costs, I was glad to pay the extra.

It's the new kids who think they're somehow worth 350/hour off the bat that make me laugh. Never hired one of them.

When the next recession comes (within a year), you're going to have a decrease in disposable spending and an increase in the number of providers. There will probably be a month or two of low hiring until the laws of supply and demand kick in.

Yeah there are a couple of newbies in Denver starting at $350 an hour. I think the cannabis industry here is finally on a bust cycle and you have a lot of guys that are part of those layoffs starting to try escorting. They're nice enough...but they all have to get really stoned before they start any escorting.

I’ve written about this in another thread but my knowledge is this: this model we’re speaking about –Rentmen ads, hot guys, in calls out calls, maybe massage, rate per hour– has been a successful upper middle class Western model for awhile. But with the emergence of dating apps (which I mostly don’t think are factoring into price ~hikes~ more likely the opposite) and social media, especially hypervisual and seemingly personal Instagram, this model is being decently challenged. A site like Instagram is the perfect forum to see someone super attractive, see their life on a regular basis and develop a feeling of connection, and then right there in the corner is that DMs button or an email on their profile to potentially speak directly with and even solicit business, of any kind!, to the desired person.

With an emerging Eurasian middle class and a globalized first class Instagram is like a perfect catalog for all manner of rewarding connection whether showcasing beautiful, popular people for tourism hotels gyms or parties, or something more private maybe even intimate.

And each of these guys, so called influencers or models or trainers or travelers, can engage and decide on a case by case basis how far he’s willing to go, literally and metaphorically, to achieve the rewards of business, travel, career advancement, and indeed money. And that money is usually big money (a few grand for a meeting) because of all this aura or desirability around their cyber persona puts this person in command of what they accept or don’t accept as worth them escorting as “non-escorts”. Make sense?

Buyers would hardly have control over that market the way they can steadily do so over Rentmen and the like where it’s all a clear cut mode of business, supply demand.

Now my point is this, many escorts may well be in this realm of international cyber popularity or they may see plenty of guys who look like them who are popular and reaping those benefits while they aren’t and think to themselves, wait there actually are way bigger stakes to play or bigger fish to catch!

It may not be the reliable steadiness of the Rentmen model, but if the right guy is ambitious enough, it could well be a lot more exciting and potentially more rewarding in the long-run to pursue. And that will certainly lead to a price hike particularly in major cosmopolitan areas.

If and when one becomes aware of new heights to reach –whether that’s as a model escort influencer blah blah learning there are men willing to pay thousands for a night or day or few with you, OR as a connoisseur learning that wow that hot model I see on Instagram could meet in person for the right offer, I’ll save up because I really like him– you can be sure many will aim for them.

But, of course, Coronavirus may make all thee above come crashing down lol.

Sounds like an interesting "model". However, if I propose to the influencer a more private, intimate gathering and he is turned off by the invite, can he somehow retaliate and shame me in front of my other friends on instagram? I've never done this before and have limited know how. Should I open up a separate instagram just for private pursuits?

Can he? Sure he can. Is it likely? Definitely not. If someone has 9000+ followers they’ve likely gotten these propositions before and likely with some regularity. If they’re open to it they engage and if not they ignore it or say no and certainly don’t expose because they probably want no association whatsoever with drama or prostitution or casting couch etc. remember they’re probably crafting an image and the more perfect it is, in whatever subjective archetype that may be, the more bankable in all respects they become. And you may find a separate account less helpful because most of these guys will want to see some credibility or humanity in their inquirer to know the proposition is legitimate and they can engage with mutual seriousness and discretion for the arrangement. In many cases you may find email is a better bet. But mind you, these guys are profiting from narcissism in all ways and may have their own limits and often a degree of entitledness about who and what they’ll engage for business be it for fashion and photography, traveling and sponsoring, and certainly for intimate encounters.

And also as someone who has been on that side of theses propositions and arrangements, there is always some anxiety of not knowing who or how this person, clearly with more money than I, functions. So while you may think oh this popular guy with so much following and clout could ruin me somehow, they too will think, ah this guy propositioning me could be some really powerful person or something, better be careful.

I met one of my regulars when he advertised on RM a few years ago. However, if I saw his instagram (which I know now) and saw how many fancy places he was invited to, and the fabulous lifestyle he leads, I doubt i'd be bold enough to reach out... fearing rejection for not being able to afford to meet him....but nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'm glad he has kept me at his initial rates. Instagram is interesting as I see other people comment on his cute posts (they could be his model friends as well as other "older" clients and I know one of them as i have seen the same pictures taken on his RM ad at the client's abode).

Perhaps Seeking would be a better venue as it serves as a platform for more commercial exchanges, but it probably wouldn't be as fun of a chase as instagram :)

DM me his IG lol. Seeking is its own mess to sift through I think... a lot of boys who ~think~ they want try being a sugar baby, escort, courtesan blah blah but really just want to be given money for existing and not realizing they will need to engage the spectrum of performing – bonding. But there are some like me who graduated from sugar baby to escort to take advantage of! Instagram though you’re probably dealing with people who are ready and prepared to profit from their appearance and persona and, quite frankly, are probably more well adjusted for using sex or at least sexuality/sex appeal as a mode or tool for their advantage; as many, if not most, good looking people are.

The"Stars" won't have to lower their prices in a recession. Everyone else will. And it takes a lot to be a star. Looks/physique/attitude aren't enough. You also need enough customers to give good reviews.

And I'm waiting for "tested negative for coronavirus" to start appearing on ads. At least when we have enough testing kits to go around.
