Not worth it IMO. Says versatile but wants big bucks to bottom.(I’m a top) Doesn’t do much, Gives as minimal amount of head as possible, won’t let you play with his ass and barley kisses. Whole session felt awkward and rushed. Also while he was very ripped and good looking, I don’t think he was the same guy as the pics (not sure). He claimed to be a porn star model for Sean Cody. I looked but haven’t seen anything that matches.

Barley is my favorite soup, so barley kisses don't sound half bad - I'm not a spelling Nazi, I'm just teasing.

He has only five-star reviews on rentmen. Maybe you should give your input to rentmen to bring those five stars down to reality.

To look at this ad on rentment, and see all five-star reviews, one would think he is the greatest thing available.

Your response would bring a little reality to his ad.

RentMen won’t allow you to post a review unless you have contact through email on their platform. I’ve tried leaving both positive and negative reviews to no avail.

How odd.

When I contacted a provider that had a phone number and the provider said he prefers a text or call, I never use the rentmen e-mail. Most providers discourage the use of the rentmen e-mail because of the time lag in communicating.

I have left several reviews on rentmen, both good and bad.

I have never been challenged by rentmen because I contacted the provider through his listed phone or listed text rather than through rentmen e-mail.

If you like, I have the same user name on rentmen that I have here on this forum. You can access my rentmen reviews and you will see that I never contacted a provider via rentmen e-mail.

One of the questions rentmen asks of a reviewer is if you actually met with the provider. In which cases, I did meet.

I am not saying you are wrong. I am saying my experience with rentmen is different from what you described.

Not necessarily disappeared or deleted!

His ad is most likely still there but under a different screen name.

It is an old trick used by many rentmen advertisers to simply keep an advertising account with rentmen but change the screen name.

Some advertisers lurk on this forum but do not contribute posts. Some contribute. If he is a lurker, and if he saw the comment it is likely he changed his screen name.

It is entirely possible that the provider read the negative comment then decided to change his rentmen screen name.

I have had this same experience. If all communication was via text, RM sends me an email rejecting my review because there was no contact through the site. So I have sometimes exchanged pro forma emails through the site after the fact with a provider, just so I could post a review. Of course, that only works if the provider expects a good review.

Many providers specifically ask you not to contact them through rentmen.

They ask you to either call or text. A good many providers have that request in their ad.

I believe what you two wrote that rentmen rejected your reviews for a reason that is inconsistent with their advertising protocol.

However, I am puzzled why they would have such a (only sometimes) requirement when many providers ask to be contacted directly either through a phone call or text.

Like I wrote, I never had a problem submitting reviews to rentmen and I never use the rentmen message system to contact a provider.

What a strange system. They allow a provider to request only a phone call or text then reject reviews from some clients but not all. That sounds very unprofessional to me.

EDIT:

Here is a screenshot of an add I just read: it confirms that providers request calls or text -

"QUALITY +++ HERE TO GIVE YOU WHAT YOU WANT AND MORE ;)

*FOR SERIOUS ONLY

*PLEASE TEXT ME RATHER THAN MESSAGE HERE IF POSSIBLE TO ENSURE A QUICKER RESPONSE."

I‘ve run into the same problem submitting reviews for providers on RM for either 1) contacting solely via text or 2) the date was outside 2 weeks after the submission. In each instance the webmaster emailed me directly to inform me of the reason for rejecting the review (despite the review being extremely positive).

When an advertiser changes their screen name the URL associated with the ad also changes. When you attempt to display the ad using the old URL you see the following:

When attempting to display Sam's page, RM displays the listings for New York City. In my experience that indicates an ad is still present in RM's database but is hidden from view.

I have observed that if you have an advertiser buddy listed, RM keeps them on your list (and hence visible) even when they change their screen name. Ads also reappear in your buddy list if they are reactivated after having been down for some time.

Yep! Inactive ads (the ones that are not hidden) remain in your buddy list.

To be clear, I was referring to ads that were taken down, not expired ones. When they are taken down they disappear from your buddy list but if they are put back up they reappear. I wasn't sure if we were both talking about the same thing.

So we have THREE conditions:

  • Ad hidden
    • Ad disappears from your buddy list
    • Listing of ads in the advertiser's "current (formerly "home") city displayed when clicking on link

    [*]Ad inactive

    • Ad remains in your buddy list
    • Ad is displayed when clicking on the link

[*]Advertiser changes his name or deletes the ad

    • Ad remains in your buddy list, albeit with the new name and URL
    • "404" page is displayed when clicking on a link to the old URL

Feels like we need a process map and a work-breakdown structure.
