RE: Correction

HELP! SOMEONE GET ME A DRAMAMINE! THE ROOM WON'T STOP SPINNING!!!

RockHard, are you existing on some parallel universe where Spock has a goatee? This is not "just one mistake". It would like saying Jeffrey Dahmer made just one mistake because all he did was murder - who cares that is was fifteen (?) different guys.

I'm still waiting for the Nicholas-haters to explain just what it is they want as closure on this case. Do you want a more abject apology? Community service work? (Free blowjobs for the poor?) A pledge from every reader never to hire Ben? (Give me the card! I'll sign right now!) A declaration by Ben that he will take the veil? A video of the garage scene on You-tube? All of the above? I really do want to understand what it is that would satisfy you, so I can stop wasting my time following this topic and go back to looking at porn.

(Sorry about all the blank space--I hit the wrong key)

RE: Banish Benjie's Reviews!

>We all know he has vigorously denied ever writing a single review but the denial comes from the same guy who lied about helping deliver a baby. I don't think it is a great leap to assume Benjie has written many of his own reviews. I'd put my money on it.

In light of his pervasive plaigarism, it would be prudent to remove all of his reviews - regardless if they were first time reviewers or not. There's no way to determine for sure which are legit and which are not so it would be best to err on the side of caution.

FFF,

Unfortunately many of his reviews have been removed due to a database error. (All reviews prior to March 2005 are gone.) One such missing review was mine that I submitted on 27 Feb 03.

Since I have a long-time history of providing reviews on this site, I propose that I be allowed to resubmit the review. To borrow your own words, that would be the prudent thing to do. ;-)

I'm not someone that supports an all or nothing approach. I wholehearted support removing reviews that are proven to be false or submitted erroneously. But, my review was honest, valid, and I've got the e-mails to prove it was approved and published by HooBoy. (Yes, I strongly dispute your sweeping statement "...There's no way to determine for sure which are legit and which are not...")

Your suggestion that ALL reviews be removed is absurd.

Your posts are good for comic relief. But, at times, I really think you should engage your brain and rational thinking before letting your fingers fly, creating a whirlwind of controversy, and getting everyones panties in a bunch.

In short, delete those reviews that are bogus and reinstate the valid ones. :*

"RockHard, are you existing on some parallel universe"

Sure wouldn't be the first time someone has asked me that.

"If I had a heart..." written by FinFangFoom, March 14, 2007

Considering the quote above came from the author of this thread, it all seems clear to me.

"This is not "just one mistake"."

I didn't mean to imply that is was. I should have structured that sentence better. I meant to say, it usually takes many mistakes to build honorable character in a man. Mistakes are the greatest lessons life can offer. I treasure mine. I wish the same for Benjamin Nicholas.

>what it is they want as closure on this case.

I've never considered myself a "Nicholas-hater".

I've been here, reading and never commenting, about when he told about Survivor's Richard Hatch contacting escorts (and having "fun" with that), when he has revealed private information about other escorts, and I assume there's always been friction between him and posters/some other escorts here. And I've talked with other escorts I have hired - about this escort review page, BN might come up, and the verdict is probably 50/50, if they have even heard of him. I live within a stone's throw of him, and never was interested in hiring him, because he's a bird that squawks too loudly for me, you know?

But the entire thing is so amusing, and like I've said before, Doug had slam-dunk evidence that sunk the witness before he got a chance to open his mouth. Why is reacting to it so not understandable to you?

As for the apology, a one sentence admitting shame and embarassment would have made me feel bad enough for him. But he's got to pepper it with "meeting high standards" and "pressures" and crap. Like I said elsewhere - A pox on the heads of his faithful fans for driving him to this!

(well, to be fair, the "high standards" part is pure FFF, but he acurately translated what BN meant IMHO)

In short, how would you go about determing that?

I'll help you with the answer: there isn't a way.

So logically, the easiest and cleanest way would be to expunge all the reviews and let Little Benjie (let me once again stress that this is not a veiled reference to the size of his penis) start from scratch with this reviews.

I'm sure there will be a deluge of clients wanting to sing hosannahs to his name.

Rapturishly yours,

Sorry, Charlie, I had vowed not to hire the young man, after several years of wanting his body, but the savagery of the past few days may lead me to hire him after all. You captured the vultures perfectly with your comments about their not being satisfied with drawing and quartering. Even the Romans rooting for the lions would be ashamed of some of these characters.

Nothing will satisfy some people.

Every person is human, every person make mistakes. Some people will dwell on the mistakes of others because they cannot reconcile with their own mistakes.

According to dictionary.com, there is no such word as "Rapturishly".

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Rapturishly

Furthermore, I can assure everyone that you're not mine. So why do you imply a relationship or intimacy that doesn't (and never will) exist between us?

BTW, you've provided no proof or justification that my review was bogus. I, on the other hand, have the proof that it was real and authenticated by HooBoy.

Perhaps I should start a thread to get all your posts removed for blatant inaccuracies and mis-statements.

But, on the other hand, perhaps there should be exceptions for Ann Coulter wannabees. }(

For those who did not major or minor in literature in college, I might point out that FFF is a master in the art of the leitmotiv. Great job.

On the other hand, RockHard is a master in the art of ass kissing. To be fair to RockHard, Ben has charmed and deluded many other men, including (perhaps)HooBoy.

'this was Benji's very first blog entry. I found it very interesting.

"Wow… My first entry in my ‘blog’ on BenjaminNicholas.com. An interesting feeling knowing that some may tune into this weekly ranting to see what I’ve been doing. Hell, then I’d better make sure it’s some pretty decent stuff, right? * snicker *

There’s a part of my that would like to publish names, honest truths and stories, but it’s not always in people’s best interests. Let’s stick to assumed names to protect those who do incredibly stupid things, okay? Maybe as support increases, I can begin to open things up a little more. Although, please be aware that I will NEVER speak of my guys or what happens privately between us….

Why must all escorts I meet be manic, depressed and deprived people? Normality isn’t always plentiful in this industry. Recently, I had an escort from the West Coast stay with me here in San Antonio for a bit and it became painfully clear to me that he truly hates his profession. It was insane because he allows himself to become more fucked up because he’s too lazy to go out into the world, finish an education and join the land of the living. After awhile I was beginning to feel like an asshole for taking him in. I was treated without any hospitality and things turned even further south when he mumbled some racial slurs. Not cool.

He suddenly vanished in a cloud of dramatic smoke and life was thankfully back to normal. If that was the way I had to live as an escort, I know for sure that I couldn’t handle it. Just too unstable.

I’m convinced that one can escort, save his money and plan for a future. Is it really that tough? Hell, is it even that much tougher to remain MENTALLY stable in this industry? If escorts would just loosen up, try to enjoy an opportunity and not focus so much on treating everyone like an ATM, then maybe they wouldn’t find things so bad.

Ok, ok, ok… This is getting long, so I’ll just leave you with thoughts of next week’s blog and my trip into LA. This is gonna be fun ;) "

"RockHard is a master in the art of ass kissing."

Asses are my thing and I see no reason to apologize for it. And I will kiss yours, alanm, as long as you provide a good reason. (You haven't lately.) So don't blame me because yours has fallen to the floor.

"To be fair to RockHard, Ben has charmed and deluded many other men"

It seems alanm is trying hard to be master at something, perhaps his own misguided opinion. Like many escorts, I do believe Benjamin Nicholas has charm, how can one become a firestorm without it? But I haven't provided an opportunity for him to charm me.

Deluded? I don't think so. Although readers here may never be privy to what I write privately, I can say, unequivocally, the "love" I have shown Benjamin Nicholas has been tough love. I've built a career on telling people what they don't want to hear but need to hear.

I refer you to Billy's above post.

The part about "manic*, depressed**, and deprived***". And there's a "West Coast" escort out there who's racist****, too. How charming.

Sometimes being a "firestorm" isn't exactly a good thing, and can later in life result in two or three bitchy, mean-spirited, and, ultimately, very funny threads.

* Oh, but not Ben!

** Oh, but not Ben!

*** Oh, but not Ben!

**** Oh, but not Ben!

Like I've said, I've never much cared for his tactics.

RockHard:

I have been reading your comments on this site for about 18 months, and have not read anything close to how you describe your private correspondence with escorts and others.

Nevertheless, Ben does need a good friend who will tell him the truth (again and again and again) about the difference between the public image he has invented and the real person. If you make even some progress with Ben, you deserve much credit. Good luck (not meant as a sarcastic comment).

I do understand the interest in the topic. I just want someone to TELL ME WHAT THEY WANT TO HAPPEN NEXT! That's all I'm asking, and no one is answering that.

I just read the other thread, and MindTheGap has made a very specific suggestion there. I don't know how appropriate it is--it involves a financial contribution to a laudable organization, though one of MTG's personal choice, and I have no way of knowing whether the sum is reasonable--but at least it moves the discussion to the next level.

Well, private is private and certain details are best served by discussing them away from a crowd of loud voices.

Even though I'm sure I would enjoy my tongue up Benjamin Nicholas' ass, my tongue is NOT up Benjamin Nicholas' ass and it never was.

"If you make even some progress with Ben, you deserve much credit."

Thank you but I don't really care much about credit (unless it's part of the negotiation). Contrary to many accusers, I'm quite secure with myself and my experience, and I'm always happy to help someone in need, especially if I like him.

Again, alanm, thank you for reading my posts.

Charlie,

I wasn't that familiar with the ramifications of plagiarism until I did a little research. In the literary world, it's considered a serious offense. At many universities, an act of intentional plagiarism might result in failing the course, and possibly, being suspended or even expelled. Not only was BN's act of plagiarism intentional, but he repeated it over and over again. His uncredited posts were a significant part of his blog. He only confessed after he got caught (I kind of visulaize a deer caught in the headlights). IMO the right thing to do is to shutdown the blog. However, I don't expect he can bring himself to do that.

As a side note, what I find amusing about the whole situation is the lack of respect he has shown for his adoring fans. It's obvious he thought they were just too stupid to connect the dots. And, yet, some of them continue to blindly support his blog, so maybe he was right.

Mind the Gap is someone we hadn't even heard of some months ago, yet now he has taken it upon himself to determine Benjamin's punishment. What gall!

I think the blog became a dead parrot the moment Doug69 made his initial post exposing the plagiarism. Even I expected more from Ben than just an announcement he would shut it down.

RE: What A Gap!

>>yet now he has taken it upon himself to determine Benjamin's punishment. What gall!

Well, not really. His punishment was having to remove the passages from his blog and the

FACT that both original authors of the pieces saw it, and I assume responded - in what manner we'll never know.

I'm sort of sick of the "grovelling" act too, (shoot both parents and cry you're an orphan, anyone?) I wouldn't care if Benjie came here, said he was sorry and embarrassed, and told me to stick my head up my ass. I wouldn't care! I'm not a FAN, but I'm not a "hater".

Charlie keeps asking what should happen "now". What should happen is up to Benjamin, and I have a feeling it's going to take quite a while. Fortunately, for him, he has "his boys". For those on the outside, maybe he could show a little less pomp and prance and he wouldn't be such a magnet for controversy - but, once again, who says he necessarily doesn't thrive on that?

RE: What A Gap!

Each of us has his own remedy here...either read the blog or not. Beyond that, no one can say what it would take for Benjamin to redeem himself as no one can gurantee the answer would work. Some here will not be satisfied even if he wore a hair shirt or whatever medieval punishment you can think of. His actions in the future will be the best indication of his having learned or not from this episode in his life.

Lucky. Have you EVER, just once, here or elsewhere, ever expressed a public thought about anything that wasn't affected by either your 9th grade remedial reading skills, or, your inherent need to misquote and misrepresent other poster’s thoughts to make you feel worthy in the face and eyes of others?

In the spirit of timely truth, I’ll answer my own question for you. No. I cannot present one example of anything which you have ever expressed, or, involved yourself in publicly, anywhere, to reflect anything other than your pussy boy type character which spews of massive passive aggressive behaviors toward others, as well as a major disconnect that obviously exists between you and the realities of which most others find to be true.

Next time Lucky, if you’re going to quote my beliefs, from my public expressions within these forums to others, do yourself a favor and do it accurately. It will only assist you in looking like less of an asshole and idiot of which you wear very well and look like right now.

That said, that would make you someone other than whom you really are. Nevermind.
