Thinking about it, he didn't let me in til he'd seen me on his door camera. Maybe he screens by appearance? Not sure what he'd have been able to tell about me, mind, as I was all covered up because of the heavy rain.

If you book more than 90 days out….the Heathrow Express is cheaper, faster, and nicer. However, the closer you get to your travel date the more expensive the Heathrow Express gets, and I agree Elizabeth eventually wins on price. 

Also if your final destination is somewhere along the Elizabeth Line other than Paddington Station, the convenience of not switching trains comes into play as well. However, the Elizabeth only goes to Heathrow Terminals 4 & 5 (my usual terminals) every 30 minutes. The Heathrow Express is every 15 minutes. Both trains service terminals 2 & 3 every 15 minutes.

I’m sticking with the Heathrow Express. YMMV.

This has been discussed ad nauseam. It's closer to £200.   £300 if there is something special - i.e giant endowment, very high end / porn star . Outside London , this drops to £150.

The escorts are entrepreneurs - if you are a foreigner from a rich country / place, you can sometimes  be changed more than someone local from the UK, and your experience may differ.  .

There's no other English-speaking city as attractive for them to go though is there? They can stay in the UK for up to 180 days without a visa but they would need a visa for any type of stay in the US.

I stayed at the Langham a few nights recently, and was surprised there were no key cards required for the lifts. Another plus, I was in a wing that had a private entrance, didn’t need to being my guest through the lobby. Met them outside a pub next door, hen in the back entrance all very discreet.

I ended up going with a Hilton close to Paddington, I rolled the dice but the elevators indeed don't require key card access. The hotel has the added convenience of being close to Paddington. I took the Elizabeth line directly from Heathrow to Paddington and then only had a short walk to my hotel.

On future trips I'm going to ensure that my hotel is around Paddington.

Absolutely. Without doubt the sleaziest places I have ever been to were the staff areas at some of the big clubs/bars in Manchester or London when I worked in the brewery industry 20-odd years ago. Heaven was a particularly low point. I doubt it's changed that much.
