I think it's nice to remember someone who performs a service that satisfies you..I was a hairdresser in Manhattan on W 57th St for years..My tips were beyond extraordinary...I put so much time and effort into my work..Standing up 8 or more hours a day..plus being cheerful..helpful is stressful..but rewarding..

My holiday tips were incredible..and I remember each and everyone of my clients..

Tip to your comfort...tip to show how pleased you are.

A Happy Holiday to all

I tip my barber 25% every time. He does pretty well. His shop is within a trendy men’s boutique, where I’m also a big customer. I give him a treat at Christmas. I also take my personal cross-fit trainer and partner out for a pricey dinner around Christmas. I believe in rewarding those who are part of making me look good for my age.

Don't diminish your accomplishment by adding the qualifier "for my age." There are all kinds of "looking good." If you look good, you look good.

In a way it sounds like you should decide whether you would like to give her a tip or a Xmas gift. The Xmas gift in my estimation might be a small amount bigger than your usual tip and that lets her know you were thinking of her. For instance it could be something based on something you have spoken about in the past, like movie or book gift certificates. Or maybe some kind of special teas or chocolates. Or even special hand lotions, etc. It's hard.

Choosing gifts for somebody you don't know very well is dicey. There's a very high risk of getting something they can't use or don't like. Cash is best. Gift cards are a good alternative.

An escort told me his favorite gift was an unsolicited item from Amazon ... with a "gift receipt" (presumably so he can return it for cash). Skip the middle man; give him the cash.
