I met up with him for lunch recently. Nice nice guy. Havent hired as of yet. He was very willing yet I have to say if you seem to be able to bring more to the table than an hourly fee, your chances go up proportionately.

Apologies for the naïveté, but what the heck does THAT mean?

Haven't personally met him but he did briefly have a profile on RM a year ago or so. Then and now he's been responsive to email and text so far but again haven't met him yet.

poolboy is on the right track. guys please do not look too much into things and make false conjectures that others will claim as truths. it could hurt an escorts lively hood and thats quite honestly not right

I'd guess it means he's looking for a sugar daddy relationship? Or at least a regular?

Doesn't seem like there is anything fundamentally wrong with searching for that if both parties are consenting adults and mutually fine with it.

That's the whole premise behind seeking arrangements after all.

Alas, I can barely keep myself in the lifestyle to which I've become accustomed, let alone someone else :)

I appreciate this concern and agree, but there was no way to know from the original statement. All the more reason to be clear and try to avoid ambiguity in what we write. Respectfully, without more details, the statement, “if you seem to be able to bring more to the table than the hourly fee,” provided no direction as to what “more” was. It’s fair to assume that anyone reading that would draw a variety of conclusions - and based on how it was written - it definitely invited curiosity.
