Hi guys.

I'll be available in Zurich during the second half of October. But when I go to list myself as a traveling 'scort in Zurich on Rentmen, an ominous message pops up... something I've never seen before for other cities:

"We would like to remind you that companionship services are subjected to a specific local legisation, that you are required to strictly follow and respect. According to reports form other escorts the swiss police is aresting escorts who do not have working permit for Swizerland."

Can anyone shed some light on this? Especially grateful to replies from other escorts, but client insight definitely welcome too.

xxx,

Dave

Aside from licences, there is an issue of legal status in the country. I don't know the specifics but I suspect that EU (and European economic area) nationals have the right to work in Switzerland (not just as escorts), but outsiders do not. That may be a consideration.

EU nationals don’t have to apply for a work permit before they can work in Switzerland, but only if it is for less that 90 days. If it is longer they need a government authorisation.

Americans need an authorisation, for any paid or unpaid work, and it doesn’t matter how short or long is their stay.

Yes, although Switzerland is not a member of the EU, it has agreements with them to apply many of their policies. That’s why Czech, Slovak, or Hungarian boys can work in Zurich legally with no further permit from the Swiss authorities.

Yeah, here is some advice ... don't advertise on a public forum (here) and with your working name and links, that you are about to break the law in another country, a law that can result in up to a year imprisonment. The Swiss mean business. Why do you think you got the RM pop up?

They even have disallowed for commercial sex workers from abroad (ie outside EU, Schengen) the 8-day per year transnational working privilege that is loosely in place for other occupations. The countdown for erotic entertainment commences Day 1.

Enjoy the sights in Zurich and around there. Fantastic. Avoid the sites.

I was with a well known muscle model in Brasil this week. He is headed to Europe for vacation as he has a few friends there. He expects to travel around with them. This guy is VERY experienced and makes a substantial living in the establishments in which male escorts mingle with clients in spa-like settings.

I mentioned Paragonya Wellness in Zurich and having interacted with some of his fellow countrymen there. He muttered something that may have been dismissive of the idea but the word I caught was "policia".

I communicate a lot with maybe a dozen Czech friends who are escorts working Zurich right now and I have never heard of any being asked for ID. Since EU rules also allow Brits to work, I don't know why you would stand out. Especially with all the Brazilians working Zurich now. Zurich is a good market, Europe's richest. Patagonya is good business-wise sometimes. Rentman is catching on slowly in Europe but Hunqz is still by far the biggest. Possibly 90% of the European market.

I'll be flying into Zurich to meet a couple Czech escort friends on the morning of the 29th of October. Then to Prague for a week and back to Zurich for two more days. I've finally decided it's easier to hit both towns than miss half the Czech guys who at any time are in Zurich. Be aware that rates are lower in Europe. Zurich has dropped to 150 while Prague has gone to 200 (it's the Hollywood of gay porn). There are few clients in Prague though and many rich ones in Zurich. I've heard of exceptional "appreciations" from Swiss clients and lavish trips. Germany is very active but has super low rates of 100.
