Is there a particular kind, type you like?

On the Australian soap opera "Neighbours" there is a straight couple and he won't spend the night at her place because he doesn't like her sheets.

In fact when his brother and boyfriend recently got married he gave them bed sheets as a wedding gift.

The kind he likes is French Flax Linen.

Come on over, Az. ;)

I've always gotten a fairly nice discount on them. I bought them at 45% off.

I have standard comforter from Amazon; no need for a duvet cover. I think it's crazy to buy high thread count bed skirts and such. I focus on the sheets and pillowcases that actually touch my skin.

I admit to hoarding them. The set on my bed now is 6-8 years old and torn. The ones I bought over 1 1/2 years ago are still unopened. I need to figure out a realistic way to care for them so they'll last longer.

In the Loro Piana shop they sell a cashmere bed throw for around 30K... :) I wonder who buys these...

Yesterday I asked my landlord to get me some new bed sheets. I want simple plain ones. Any color but white.

Earlier this year I placed an order from MyPillows for two pillows. But someone here in the meanwhile posted that they first needed to be put in the dryer. So when they arrived I never even opened the package. But yesterday I asked my landlord to do that. Looking forward to being able to use them.

Someone who has more than that after paying for their escorts.

people rich enough to spend 30K pounds on a bed throw, do not hire escorts.

I just bought some microfiber sheets. I read that they are cooler than cotton sheets and they are. I ended up with lavender, sort of by mistake. I didn't think about selecting the color because I was in a hurry. The default was lavender. I opened the package and saw that they were lavender and I thought "Oh no." But I decided to keep them and I'm glad I did. They look really nice.

Aren't most sheets colorfast?

Wouldn't use the regular clorox bleach if they are not pure white; otherwise color will fade. Use the clorox 2 color safe bleach along with your detergent if you feel the need.

Not against bleach. Bleach whitens.

My mother used to bleach all the sheets and towels no matter the color. I never noticed any more fading than you would expect from normal wear and tear.

My mother was an ammonia girl. Bleach was reserved for articles of my dad's clothing that she despised.
