The south rim of the GC is a looong ass drive. Just did it three months ago. If you're doing it for road head you're gonna get callouses.

 

Hoover Dam/Lake Meade/Valley of Fire (in the sunset) is nice. West Rim GC not much further.

 

There are pool parties in the day and dj parties at night. There are gay pool parties although nothing like Rehab at the Hard Rock. You go to Vegas for the pools and the big dj's.

 

"Quieter" is the all-night Pirannha gay strip club and the Grove dispensery across the street from it. Cozy, gay, hip, chill.

I did the helicopter tour over Hoover landing in the GC. Only 5 hours door to door. I’d highly recommend the sunset one (not burning hot and you see the strip at night returning.)

Red Rock canyon area is nice (small fee to go on the scenic drive)....walk the strip and people watch in the evening......all the other suggestions are very good (Hoover, Grand Canyon West)......if you drive out to Hoover, there is some new highway construction near Boulder City and at the dam area.....follow signs toward the dam itself and don't forget to walk out on the bridge at the pedestrian plaza area.......

 

you can also ask your hotel concierge for ideas, though they may get a cut of the action
