It goes far beyond accepting a drink. Meeting people is extremely dangerous. Poison you with a drink is just one of many ways to kill you. They can just shoot you, or knife you, or strangle you, or burn you alive. We read about these horrible things in the news and see them in Netflix. Staying locked in in total isolation is the only sane thing to do.

Actually it is against the law. I spent many years in the ME. I am still half based in Dubai. Dubai is the only place I feel semi comfortable to have a Western or Russian escort in my flat. My advice is keep your dicks in your trousers and your asses covered until you are back home.

So basically what I'm saying is, it's possible for gay guys to have fun in these Islamic countries where gay sex is illegal, as long as you exercise extreme caution and if you're willing to pay for it (which I assume you have no issue with, since you're probably used to paying escorts in your own country anyway!).

EDIT: I have lots of photos/selfies taken with many of the young men I've managed to 'cruise' out in Marrakech. Not only have I had sex with them, but for some extra cash they have all been very willing to act as my unofficial guides/companions. I have two photos of Hamid and I together in the street that I took after we had sex in a discreet wooded area and before we parted ways). It's honestly so easy over there but at the same time, it does require a kind of "skill" that only the very experienced gay man can pull off, which is hard to explain if that's not you! 

I should say, the young men over there are the most beautiful guys I have ever seen in my life. They are strikingly handsome beyond belief, and they tend to be hung and very thick!

P.S. There is a garden opposite the Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakech that is known for cruising and which I recommend. I've had several good, hot encounters in there. No, it is not safe, don't do it. There is no safe gay life in the Middle East. Do not contact any rentmen  profiles. Best case scenario they are not real. Worst case you end up in prison. 

I like Grindr. It has the usual spam and scam, but also hot young guys who want to make some money without advertising as escorts.

Italy is rather quiet. Don't expect brothels or escort bars. You may want to check Hunqz for escorts but not expect much. Just walk around and maybe you ll meet some nice Italian. 

And if you have time try the Amalfi coast during summer, or Florence. Florence is one of the most beautiful places I've been and there is so much to see. Also Milan during the men fashion weeks if you like models. 😀
