And, no, I am not just some unsatisfied client or some random person with an axe to grind. He actually cancelled on me when I was at his front door.

Reviews on Rentmasseur are worthless. The site makes its money from masseurs paying to be listed on the site, and doesn't generate a dime from clients, so their only concern is keeping masseurs happy. Any review that isn't glowing is going to be deleted.

I am not going to make unfounded accusations or uninformed smears against someone. I will only relate what I know because I have directly witnessed it.
He has definitely fallen into an ugly form of recreational substance abuse. Let me leave it at that. As i said: first hand knowledge.

I don't think this kind of provider lasts in the market anyway. I'm very much into Latin men but I took a look at the profile and I don't think you missed anything. The fact that the location (Montclair, NJ) is not a metropolitan area could be a factor that makes it hard to find guys who are more professional. Consider prospecting guys you like, who are in the vicinity and have (positive) reviews. It could be worth the trip! 😉

Which makes sense as to why he is seeking full time ownership. Poor thing.

With any career that exposes you to the general public, you really have no guaranteed way to filter.
Best strategy is to simply do your best to organize a list of regulars, so you don't rely heavily on strangers.

LABOR is the backbone of our economy. From nursing, to road repair, from electricians to food processors and baggage handlers. Transportation, manufacturing, sanitation, entertainment, retail, and hospitality are all reliant upon workers willing to work for wages rather than glory, often in physically exhausting jobs, some with significant personal risk to health and longevity.

Sure Tchaikovsky can come across as a bit maudlin.... and his work is often overplayed, but...
I recently re-watched the film version of E.M. Forster's "Maurice" which uses Tchaikovsky's Sixth Symphony effectively as a strategy of disclosure for Clive as he woos Maurice, and through the lush music provides evidence of the ways that music, like literature, can take part in individual and social formations.
And it tugs (just a bit) at the heart strings.....
