  1. did you happen to observe a presence of Eastern European young gentlemen there as well?
  2. sometimes I like to just quietly creep in and watch - sometimes I enjoy a conversation - but when the "model" starts to chat with me within 10 second of entering the room, I usually head out quickly!
  3. As an East Village "pretty boy", I was definitely a frequent visitor during the 80. Stay out all night long, find our way to the LIRR to Sayville, find a way to get to the ferry, and "come to" at the sight of the clubs and people as the boat docked at the Pines. I felt different from the kaftan wearing men of the Pines and did not really understand much of what was going on, but I loved the beach, and walking the wood slatted walkways, making my way through the Meat Rack, and finding a much livelier and more relevant crowd of men and women in Cherry Grove. People around me were dying. The East Village was one of the epicenters of AIDS, but we struggled to create a community of mutual care and assistance during a time of crisis. The whole Fire Island thing was fun (for a day trip), but it seemed like a place totally unto itself, having no relevance to the lives of younger, activist types like myself and my friends.
  4. I met with him and have to agree with most of what @beethoven wrote. It's like I was happy when I was there, but I always felt like something more should have happened. I went for him full price VIP package and while he is technically good, there seemed to be a lack of the sexual passion that he had seemed to promise. He does not seem to like to be touched. His "type" calls out for all sorts of fantasies but he is actually very very withholding. As I walked away, I felt like not much had really happened. And SOOO much pressure to leave a review! Over exposure is not a good thing especially when it creates unrealistic expectations. Would not repeat
  5. I made inquiry of a newbie in LA.... he responded "$200-$350 an hour depending on what you wanna do" seems like a pretty wide range for someone who just posted for the first time (I think) and has no reviews or word of mouth (however: subsequent inquiries revealed a bit of an "anger management issue" as well as a huge number of name changes!)
  6. oh absolutely yes! the charter school I am leaving is using unqualified subs for half of their classes! the kids are suffering. there are some wonderful schools -- public and private -- that are eager to have me join their community and I will choose the one that is most right for me. and thank you!
  7. thank you for at least trying as best as you can
  8. If one is unable to understand the seriousness... or even the substance...of a discussion, it might be better to remain silent (I know it's difficult) than trivialize it.
  9. you are correct, my friend. I was brought up with the understanding that there are some sorts of people we simply do not associate with.
  10. yes totally agree with you - and I think because of then unique demands and rewards in working in education some of the more "traditional boundaries" that professionals maintain in the work place are a bit more fluid - as they must be!!
  11. I understand totally why you would think/say that - but: in context it was totally appropriate. Teachers in a small school work together very very closely and collaboratively. The gentleman said that to me in a very deep conversation where we were sharing very personal thoughts and reflections about how to best help kids in a dysfunctional charter school. I have always been out personally and professionally (since I was in 9th grade actually) so for me it was a cool... actually validating... comment to hear
  12. Thank you - he has significantly changed his profile since I contacted him... including the fact that Erotic is no longer grayed out. And he now lists rates - when we were in contact his response to me was: When you are ready to schedule a session hit me on here ... and I'll forward my rates once U have settled on a day and time. Thank You.
  13. Agree with you on all points. But (with all due respect), one thing he should have a handle on is what his rate is. True?
  14. Super low functioning charter school. K-8. Very senior faculty member pulls me aside as I am about to give notice. Tired of a school that does not serve its students. "We have lots of gay kids here... They need to see someone like you. You are gay, right?" (Still leaving though...)
  15. So, I enjoy this guy's look and his profile seems serious, but he refuses to tell me a rate which is a bit confounding He asked me many questions about myself (which is cool) but remains very ... hmmm.... candid.... https://rentmasseur.com/asianmasstoraph Has anyone chatted with or met him? Has anyone been able to "wrestle" more information out of him?

Less than an hour's notice strikes me as .... bizarre.... I guess I am one of the "lucky few" (haha) who actually met with him. I must say that my time with him was great, even though I feel a bit insensitive to others on this thread by having said that. I was initially pissed off by his having cancelled on me while I was in California, but both my experience with him, and subsequent exchanges after our meeting, were highly satisfying! Argh.,
  17. Once, when I sought after a massage as a way to (unsuccessfully) purge myself of relationship break up blue, I used a ED pill as an "insurance policy" that my emotional moodiness would not interfere with my having a good time. Although I remained moody for a few weeks yet to come, I have from time-to-time revisited the success of the pill much to the admiration of the masseur-in-charge (I might add....)!
  18. I studied and worked in Bangkok and rural Thailand... and on a university sponsored project in Cambodia. Perhaps i can help?
  19. While I 100% agree with Mr. Slater here, it does seem a bit "cold hearted" at times when a provider cancels on you. Witness: On a very recent trip from New York to SF, I had made plans quite a bit in advance with a provider for a meeting which we both confirmed and for which we had an animated conversation about just would/would not happen.... we were all good to go until the day before when he texted me to tell me that a "family commitment" due to a religious holiday made the meeting impossible. Possible? Sure. Likely that the provider had not anticipated this conflict well before he texted me the cancellation (with no option to re-schedule)? Hardly.
  20. This gentleman and I have had a really nice exchange and his profile is literate, compelling, and complete. (And the pics are hot...) Anyone try him (or shall I be the first to report?) Thanks! https://rentmasseur.com/Rasheemthedream/

just a follow-up so that readers can draw their own conclusions: his enthusiasm about meting notwithstanding, he cancelled on me the day before our arranged meeting. no word since.

in advance of a west coast trip coming up in a few days, i reached out to BoyToyJake and got a quick, informative, and charming reply from him. he clearly "gets" both the business and pleasure portions of his profession and that is a relief these days -- right? his offerings seem to be plentiful and while i am opting for some of the less exotic choices he offers, he was totally non-judgmental about my desires. i will certainly report back, but just wondering if anyone has actually met him recently and would like to share some knowledge.... thanks!

I believe you are correct he is one of those well meaning guys who made an initial splash on OF and then kind of.... well... lost it - not uncommon.
  24. interesting... we were having a nice chat and she showed me an empty bank account statement - did not actually ask for money but the subtext was there
