I asked Alven for a strong massage once and only once. He strong massages are too strong for me. However, his medium pressure massages are more in line with what I look for in a strong massage. Once I figured that out, I was in heaven. I'm sorry you had a bad experience and I'm not sure what happened with the tip situation. I'm surprised to hear that he said something on a $40 tip (I'm assuming that was for an hour massage at the $60 rate? If so, $40 is not a horrible tip worth saying something IMO.)

I tried to Allen today. Had a very nice massage and I'm already looking forward to the next one. And with the recommendations above for Daniel and Chris, this place could be my replacement for Top Men.

No, I don't think so. I generally start out with a subtle gesture or two and work my way up from there if they are open to more. I'm not one to be grabby, especially with someone new to me.

I chatted with him a while back. With his high fee, I was pretty clear that I was expecting more than just a massage - not necessarily a lot more but for the sake of this forum I'll leave it at that. Anyway, he was not willing to commit to anything more than a massage and the "possibility" of a little more, and he kept touting his "luxurious" accommodations. He was pretty confident that his "upscale" location was worth the extra money. I ended up blocking him because he was as persistent as he was clueless about his target audience.

While I agree that this is probably just a move rather than a 2nd location, there are other spas with multiple locations, but most with different names. Shangrila, Alpha and possibly Utopia have the same owners, Energy and Grandee have the same owners and of course 27 Men Spa has (had?) two locations with the same name (and on the same block). They just reopened one of them this week. We'll see when and if the original location opens.

I had a session with Bert this afternoon. The beginning started out pretty good but the end of the massage was rather lackluster. Can't say much more but feel free to DM if you'd like.

Agreed. I chatted/texted with a guy a month or two ago who promised a premium spa experience in his private "luxurious" apt while charging escort prices. I was up front with him that I didn't mind spending the money but I expected more than just a massage. It didn't have to be sex per se but an erotic experience, MT, and kissing at the very least for the price he was charging. He wouldn't commit to anything beyond the "possibility" of a HE and kept touting his luxurious apt. I don't care about a marble bathroom and high thread count sheets (or whatever passes for luxury these days). Clean and comfortable is fine. Agreeing to a massage with Philip was a mistake right from the start. He is probably the worst masseur there. He likes to upsell too, which annoys me.

I agree about Jack. Energy Spa is not that great in general (IMHO) but Jack is a star there and makes up for any shortcomings with the facilities and usual service from others there. Jack is the main reason I go to Energy Spa.
