Never heard of VR or Spa Club. Didn't New Yorker close a year or two ago? 28 is basically closed. It's only used on a by appointment basis when booking guys off rentmasseur or other sites. I think 27 Men's Spa and Chelsea Men's Spa are the only two on your list that are actually open (unless VR and Spa Club are actually a thing...).

All three looked new to TSMS to me. I don't remember seeing any of them pre-closure last spring.

Yes, last I saw a few months ago, the entire spa had been gutted. You could see the bare walls from the street. Adding a pic from Google street view.

I was afraid someone might ask about how they looked! lol I just met them briefly and they were all sitting in the tiny room on the right as you enter. As fit as Kenny? I would say yes. They were all moderately attractive. Simon and Robert seemed to have slimmer builds and Wayne looked shorter and slightly muscular, but again, it's hard to say exactly given the short time and they were all sitting.

I had a massage at TSMS with Kenny this afternoon. It was great, as usual, but after the massage he did something I rarely see these days. He introduced me to the new guys at TSMS - Simon, Wayne and Robert. Kenny is clearly the "main attraction" at TSMS but he's smart enough to know that the new guys need some clients, too and he's willing to share his own. When I see new names via text inquiries, I'm curious but tend to stick to the masseurs I know and with whom I have built a "relationship." I will see the guys in the spa but I usually am not able to match names with faces so it's difficult to meet them if I'm interested. I kind of feel like I'm betraying my regular masseur by asking about new faces in front of them. Kenny knows I will return to him but is willing to share his clients with his co-workers. Very classy, Kenny! 👏👏👏

I'm not a runway model by any means, but I have come to realize that the idiom "beauty is in the eye of the bolder" is very true. You never know who might think the social norm of a "perfect 10" is unattractive but they think a balding, overweight guy in his 50's is hot. Let them compliment you and enjoy it. Whether you feel it's true or not, you are hiring them for companionship. Part of that arrangement can easily include these compliments. One guy I've been hiring for about a year now makes me feel very desirable. It's not even what he says, but how he treats me. I have plenty of self-doubt but he makes me feel comfortable and wanted. It's an amazing skill to have. Unfortunately, it's far too easy to be critical of ourselves and it's difficult to accept compliments from others. Try to let go and enjoy the moment.

I met a guy on RM/MF who used this spa on my last appt. I was a little surprised by the location. When I arrived, I expected to go upstairs to a "more secluded" area but my masseur came out and directed me into this street level spot. The front of the spa is a large space and reminded me more of a jewelry store with it's display cases. He walked me to the back through several other rooms and a long maze-like hallway where the massage rooms are located. It was an odd space but nice overall. The room I used was a good size and very private. 😈 Since I didn't book the spa directly, I can't speak to the specific services they offer. My masseur was just using the space for my appt. I did take a pic of the sign right before my appt out of curiosity and with the thought that I might post it here on CoM. I assumed this was the spa my masseur was going to use. I thought it was odd that the sign didn't mention which floor of the building it was on, but it turned out to be the ground floor. lol

Most of my visits at 27/HK have been scheduled in advance, usually the day before. Never had an issue. 🤷‍♂️

While I have only been there by appointment in the last few months, I believe that most, if not all, of the signage has been removed, at least from street view. Even the buzzer shows "Health Center" or something equally generic. The only sign for "28 Men's Spa" I noticed was in the bathroom blocking the window. Maybe I missed something, but IIRC there was nothing to identify it as 28 Men's Spa from the street. I didn't see much of the lobby as I was ushered to the massage room quickly each time. I'll have to take a better look at the store front next time I'm in the area. 🤷‍♂️

28 Men Spa closed a while ago, unless you mean the unofficial "health center" that has been operating in its place on a "by appointment only" system. I've only visited there recently when I've made appointments with masseurs from RM or MF. They always give an address nearby and tell me to call when I arrive outside. Of course, then they tell me to go to the real spot at the old 28MS location or they walk out to find me.

One way to get their attention is to book Cody and if he wears gloves, ask him to remove them. If he won't, then get up and leave. Be respectful but just leave. Advise them (whoever is managing that day) calmly/rationally why you are declining service. If he wants/needs to wear gloves, that's his choice but that doesn't mean we have to accept it. We don't need to know his medical history but we also should be advised if our masseur is going to be doing something out of the norm like wearing gloves. (And I say this as someone who loves 27/HK and I have been a client since its Sunny Boy days.)

It looks like he's in Seattle now. I had one good massage with him but then future massages turned into endless upselling and renegotiation of previously agreed upon services in the middle of the massage. He had so much potential IMO, but he shot himself in the foot with his behavior.
