Can anyone tell me how you know who you are getting at Energy, Grandee or any other spa other than HK and 27? Grandee has "Masseur A, B, C, D" online but who are you getting. I am new to this spas (other than HK and 27), had a bad experience and looking to branch out. But rather know what the guy will look like prior to walking in. Do I just look through this message board for the time being?

I love that HK and 27MS post their schedules. Shangrila sort of does that too, but you have to start the booking process to see names.

I find recommendations on this site and then call/text the spa and ask if they are working on the day I want to go. I may not know what they look like, but I usually have an idea from the recommendation.

So Kenbodymassage is mapping to Paris Men and he refers to himself as Chuck giving spa sessions. Been on RM since 2018. Only one thread asking about him under the Ken banner. Can’t see the private pics, but not believing the 1st public pic.

I wonder if Chuck (or Ken?) is the same Chuck from 27MS. I haven't seen his name on 27MS's roster in the last few weeks. I thought he was taller than 5'10" though.

Chuck at Paris Spa is a very professional masseuse. I know him for some time and his massages are consistently good and well worth a visit. His deep tissue massage is very energetic, your body feels the energy, the whole body relaxes and relieves fatigue. I'll make another appointment with Chuck

New construction at the spa offers enhanced privacy. I recommend Chuck and Paris spa

    Hi Chuck! 🙄🙄🙄

  4. You should absolutely tell them. Part of the whole idea behind hiring an independent masseur, either for an in call or an out call, is the sense of privacy as opposed to going to a spa with others around. As a client, I always go to the masseur's place. I've had a few times when the masseur had company. One time, it was the sister of the masseur and another was a guy who hid in the bathroom except I needed to use the bathroom before the session. Very awkward. Another time, the masseur informed me ahead of time that his landlord was in the house (he rented a bedroom) and he said he told the landlord that I was just a Grindr hook up, not a client. He didn't want him to know what he did for work. I never saw the first two masseurs again because the surprise was just too weird, and frankly, disrespectful. I should not have been put in that position.

I can only imagine that the masseur in your situation felt similar. The surprise of finding another person there probably made him nervous. Was this a sting? Was he going to be robbed or beaten up? At least give them a heads up and let them make a decision for themself.

Does anyone know if the Chris that is back on the schedule at Shangrila is the Chris that used to work there? Any insights? His massages were fantastic!!

You've gotten my hopes up! I just sent them an email asking if it's him. I only had one massage with him before he left and he was great. I hope it is him! haha If they reply, I'll let you know.

Has anyone seen Noah at 27 men’s/ HK spa?

I wasn't impressed. He jumped fairly quickly into "extras" mode and he liked to flex for his own pleasure while staring at himself in the mirror. He gave a mediocre massage.

I don't know what pearl clutching is. I'm an old guy, and I don't wear jewelry.

I'm not the one who wrote OMG, and nor did I use 3 !!! after the word illegal. I was simply stating a fact. Some guys here talk about "tipping" as if they are dining at Luger's. Some guys talk about Asian-owned men's spas as if they're visiting a Four Seasons Hotel. It's silly, and naive.

You are either extremely naive or delusional. 🙄

Whichever they choose, I hope they take more time to spellcheck. "Massuage" "M SAA" and what the hell is "Hendsy"???

You're probably in the wrong place. Seems a little naive to me. I've never been to one of these Asian "spa" places, but if the guys are doing HE, and charging for it, via tip or otherwise, it's illegal. If the illegal activity is as blatant as described in some of these threads, then I would suspect that owner pressure is behind it. Sounds like an old-fashioned brothel experience disguised as a spa, and those places have always been run mafia style. This tipping business should not be thought of or compared to traditional spa tipping. This 40-100% upsell is a whole other animal. I would imagine there is some kind of punishment if the HE service fails to be acquired. That might explain why the massuer turns unhappy immediately when his tip list is rejected.

If you are writing a post like this on this message board, you are the one who is naive. I mean really, what's with all the pearl clutching? OMG "it's illegal"!!!🤣

I'm amazed about this subject being an in issue... isn't it implied that a top likes to cum inside a bottom just like most straight guys like to cum inside a pussy?

In the era of PrEP when BB is no longer a Russian roulette some providers require a condom?

There's more out there than just HIV. Some guys still like to be careful or at least selective about who breeds them. Getting other STIs can be expensive. They may need to take time off or they could get a bad rep and lose repeat customers if there's a perception of them giving a client an STI.

I don't like that this place doesn't offer booking your appointment online, I get anxiety from calling but I'm looking to book Sebastian. What's good about him? What's not so good about him? Anyone want to DM me their experience? Thanks!

I know what you mean. It's not always convenient to make a phone call. Either an online option or a text option would be nice. I saw an IG post with a number to text HK Spa but most of my favorites are at their sister spa, 27MS, and I haven't seen a text option for them. 🤔

I think it would be helpful to have a new thread which would offer each Manhattan spa separately so that one could follow the reports over time. This mix of reports is not as useful.

You saw Johnny at Spunk Spa, write about him under the Spunk Spa category. The next Spunk report would follow.

It would probably be even easier if there were a sub-category for the NYC spas and then all of threads would be easier to find (maybe...). There are already multiple threads about individual NYC spas here but they get lost among the other misc. threads and then people start new ones.

I just browsed the website of Redline. Wow, it’s only $100/90 min and there’s no tipping in Japan (can someone who’s visited confirm that?) plus there’s a ¥2000 for all inclusive service. What does that mean? TIA

While it's true that tipping basically doesn't exist in Japan, my experience with Redline was an exception to that rule. The guy I had at Redline had lived overseas and had definitely picked up some more "western philosophies" like pushing for tips, giving the sad story of talking about all of his bills, etc. I think I gave him an extra ¥2000 or so and said "sorry, that's all I have on me." I did not have this experience with other providers.

It was sensual, not more. I recall giving a $100 - so I guess a bit more than 50% of their prices. If it was more than sensual, whats the appropriate tip - 100%?

Did you give a $100 tip or was the total you gave $100 ($65 for the massage and $35 for the tip)? A $100 tip is great, but $35 on a $65 massage (or $30 on a $70 massage, however the math works out to be $100 total) is not good unless it's a strictly therapeutic massage at a "regular" spa.

Yes, a 100% tip is normal for anything more than therapeutic. That would be my starting point, depending on the experience.
