  1. Wow. He's all over the place. When I saw his profile yesterday, he was in Chinatown not far from Manhattan Bridge. Now, he's a couple blocks north of Central Park. This, added with the Brooklyn and NY Spa locations in such a short time is a huge red flag for me. That said, if anyone does take a chance, please feel free to share your thoughts. 😎

  2. This is Cary's place in Elmhurst (the map is not accurate). He was fairly popular pre-pandemic/pre-CL crackdown. He usually had a nice selection of masseurs to choose from at the time - mostly 20'something Asian twinks. lol

It seems that he is starting up business again. I wish he would advertise in better places than CL though. I'm not sure how his available his selection of masseurs will be.

I inquired awhile ago and it seemed like Cary was solo but testing the waters and then he started offering two guys recently. (Cary was offering his services first but mentioned the other guys after I asked.) I tried one of them, Henry. He was nice. He gave a decent massage on a table in Cary's apt. I would repeat but I'm also hoping to try the 2nd guy, Jan, sometime soon.

  3. Other than a bad text exchange, has anyone actually met him? The pics on his account don't worry me much. They are just generic, faceless body shots. Hopefully, the ones he sends are legit. Anyone have some personal experience to share (here or via DM) please? Thanks.

I have no idea how many Phillips there are at Time Square Spa. I only know that I had a perfect experience with a Phillip who is Chinese, tall, handsome, sweet, very fit, and a great masseur. I regret that my attempt to post positively about him was met by some who denigrate him without even being sure that he is the same guy. I forgot my phone and had to return to the spa. Philip was waiting for me, phone in hand and a big smile on his face. He didn't expect any reward. I was happy to see him!

I only know of one Phillip at TSMS and I highly doubt they would have multiple masseurs with the same name. That's why I was surprised to hear such positive reviews. Maybe he lost some weight and changed his MO? I'm glad you enjoyed your time with him.

  5. My experience was Phillip was definitely different. His upselling was like an a la carte menu and was more like a 200% tip request in the end (and my requests are not very extravagant or unusual, especially in a spa setting). I am a good tipper - minimum of 100% for some basic fun and I can easily go to 200% in the right situation, but to be asked multiple times in one session for extra tips is too much. I really think this might be a different Phillip than I experienced. Whenever I tried for last minute appts at TSMS, he was consistently available. The Phillip I'm thinking of is not the in shape, muscular, popular guy described here. lol

I wandered into Time Square Spa, thinking that I would make general inquiries and try to find the time when they had the most masseurs available. But as soon as I saw this hot Chinese guy who I later learned was Phillip, I was all in. Phillip is a tall, gym-fit Chinese masseur who happens to be sweet as well. He gave me a great massage. I like them strong and I got it. He worked hard from the beginning to the end. I was not disappointed! I left very happy.

Is there another Phillip at TSMS??? The Phillip I know at TSMS is not fit, not with that jiggly, dough-boy tummy of his! Between that and his constant upselling, I will never hire him again. lol

Seems all above positive reviews are from chelsea  29th men spa masseurs themselves. Next time please post review if really worth.  It is not only waste of money but time as well.

Thanks @HornieMikey for joining the Forum so you could share your experience at Chelsea Men as your first post. As for your second post on the same topic, I’ll take some umbrage as I was one of several positive reviews. I assure you that I do not work for  Chelsea Men. I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Shit happens. Sometimes it’s a bad day for a masseur, sometimes it's a matter of differing likes and tastes. Indeed some posts in the forum can be by masseurs masking as clients to boost themselves and their spa. As well, some posts can be by masseurs looking to trash a competing spa. As for me, as anyone can see from my history, I’ve been a participating member here for a long time. I stand by my review here and will be back. We look forward to you establishing your own history across a multitude of masseurs and spas.

Well said, EVdude. I also left a positive review of the spa but anyone can look at my history on this board and see that I post on a variety of spas. I have continued to have great experiences with Allen, but as with any masseur, he may not be for everyone. I was able to try Daniel and Chris, and I found that they were not a good match for me so Allen will be my "go to" guy there. And as EVdude mentioned, once HornieMikey establishes himself with a track record, maybe his post(s) will carry some weight.

I went last week and had a very good experience. Very nice, clean, and friendly personnel.  I had Nelson, a young, nice looking Asian who have me a good massage.

I believe you are confusing 24 Chelsea Men's Spa (24th St btwn 9th and 10th Ave) with Chelsea Men's Spa (29th St bwtn 6th and 7th Ave). Nelson works at 24CMS but this thread is about CMS.

Or just unprofessional to move or cancel existing reservation just to fit in as many clients in between. And they did that to you multiple times within a day. Disappointing.

Agreed. That's a big turn off for me. I made an appt at another spa a few weeks ago. Upon arrival, they said to try back in a half an hour. I said I had an appt and even showed them the text. Obviously that wasn't going to make a masseur magically appear though. lol I left and don't plan on going back. (I had another odd exchange with that spa previously so it wasn't just the one bad experience.) Luckily, I haven't had any experiences like Chad's at 27MS/HK Spa.

  10. I've never experienced this in NYC. I'm having a hard time figuring out which spa this might have been. I can't think of any that are/were near Herald Sq. The closest would be (or would have been a few years ago...) W Spa on 30th near 7th but that's on the ground floor, Babylon on 6th Ave near 38th(?) which was (is?) on the 2nd floor, and Moon Boy (if memory serves) was a 2nd floor spa on 25th near 6th Ave. I think they closed 6-8 years ago though. Hmmm... I do like having a choice of masseurs when I don't know the staff. I wish more places in NYC offered that as an option. haha

If you're interested in Mexico City, I definitely recommend Kundalini Studio. I used this massage service last time I was in Mexico City and it was amazing! Their space was nothing special but the sensual massage was one of the best I've ever had. Of course, it didn't hurt that it was a 4 hand massage. The booking process was very easy and friendly. It's clear that their goal is to provide excellent service from beginning to end.

Did you then ask him about the prominent boner pic in his private gallery? 🍆

haha No, I don't have access to private pics. Maybe he was hacked? 🤣🤣🤣

Top Men was good but way overpriced.

It was a little more expensive but other places are much worse. Some places are around $60-65/hour and TM was $85/hour. I see other spas charging $130/hour. That's way overpriced to me. 🤷‍♂️

Any experience at Romeo Men's Spa in Queens? https://romeomenspa.com/

I went there recently. It's ok if your nearby and don't want to go into Manhattan. It's an apt set up as a massage spa.. You enter through the kitchen/living room but they have a "spa style" desk near the front door and curtains hanging to distract from realizing it's just an apt. lol There are a couple of small room facing the street. I was massaged in one of them. It's fairly loud with the 7 train just outside above and lots of street traffic below. The surrounding block or two have multiple other massage spas catering to straight guys so the area has a certain "atmosphere" to it.

My massage was average and was pretty much as I expected from beginning to end. I will go back if it's convenient but otherwise I'll be heading into Manhattan for most of my massages.

There seems to be a new masseur at New Paradise named Norik. I’m assuming it’s the same that’s been talked about in this thread, but WOW. Would highly recommend after my one session with him this week. Can anyone confirm whether or not it’s the same Norik? Will def be repeating.

There are a couple of Norik's out there. I had a good massage from Norik at Top Men. After it closed, I tried Norik at 27 Mens Spa thinking he might be the same guy but he was different. Maybe this one at New Paradise is the same one who was at Top Men? 🤔

Does anyone know if there’s been multiple “Antonios” working at 27 Men Spa? I saw an Antonio a few years ago at the previous location, but not sure if I’d describe him as white. He had light eyes but looked multi-racial (had braids in his hair at one point). The latest people describing Antonio seem to just mention a white guy?

That's the same Antonio. Highly recommended! I remember the braided hair. I wasn't a fan but to each their own! lol

  18. I asked Alven for a strong massage once and only once. He strong massages are too strong for me. However, his medium pressure massages are more in line with what I look for in a strong massage. Once I figured that out, I was in heaven. I'm sorry you had a bad experience and I'm not sure what happened with the tip situation. I'm surprised to hear that he said something on a $40 tip (I'm assuming that was for an hour massage at the $60 rate? If so, $40 is not a horrible tip worth saying something IMO.)
