This was Cliff Parker c. 18 years ago. Possibly the only person depicted in this thread who I have ever hired ... I'm not into bears myself, but years ago a friend asked me to accompany him to an afternoon Bear's holiday party. It was clear that some of the self-identified bears there were had very little body hair (although some of the sported beards). It seemed to me that the sense of whether or not one belonged to the tribe could be based on general shape and disposition. So using that criteria, I'd say Lebeau was definitely "Cubish". I agree that he'd have to be a bit more chiseled and hirsute to qualify as an otter.

When employed as musical instruments, I believe these are called "Wagner Tubas", and it wouldn't surprise me if there were musicians or musical politicians incensed enough at the composer after whom they were named, that they would be ever so glad to use them in this fashion. Should Dirk Caber ever pass through these parts again, he might be willing to comment . . . (He's pretty open about his lower brass connections).

Many years ago, when I was a graduate student with straight roommates, both of them were members of the University sailing club.
