  1. Several years ago, I was walking up market street toward Castro from Sanchez and passed Kevin Slater in front of (what was then) the Golds there; he may have been waiting for a lift. He refused to make eye contact so I continued on. It was a warm enough day that his shirt was unbuttoned with no T-shirt, showing a torso that suggested around 5% bodyfat content. More recently near the same interection (Noe & Market) I crossed the street in the opposite direction but same crosswalk as Dirk Caber (who also refused to make eye-contact). More recently than that I did the "thanks, but after you" dance in the Safeway at Church & Market with Lance Navarro, who was entirely gracious and confirmed the interaction subsequently here. And a *really* long time ago, I hired somebody without a face photo who worked behind the counter at what was then the Muscle System gym (who asked if I was OK about it after a bit of mutual surprise on opening the door at his place, which I totaly was ...)
  2. In late summer of 1975, I flew on a flight specifically of college and university students going to France from the west coast (to spend the entire academic year there); the flight left from Los Angeles, but there was a connecting flight from San Francisco. I'm thinking that we must have made the transfer at the old terminal one, which was east of the main complex. We never left that building, so I wouldn't have seen that it was behind locked gates . . .
  3. Many happy returns of the day!
  4. I'll take the top one and point out that it is actually leather wrist restraints, which are a lot more comfy and less likely to do nerve damage than actual steel handcuffs
  5. I regret there isn't a teary-eyed icon for a "Like" as there is in face book. Color me moved.
  6. Yes, sorry about that. Type in haste, repent in leisure.
  7. I seem to recall a posting which suggested to me that you've made the acquaintances of the latter fellow, and I truly regret to say that my letter of introduction to the former would have so little effect on the fellow that it would be worth the electrons that conveyed it . . .
  8. < umbrage on behalf of others> Well, let's see. There's my favorite counter-example. The Italian fellow with a Ph.D in fluid mechanics, who was a lecturer at a top-rated British university in Mathematics, who has unquestionable credentials as a fashion model (P.B doesn't stand for peanut butter in this case). And we have a former board member escort with a degree in English and Literature from a respected southern university (who nonetheless appeared in a wide variety of porn) ... Shall I go on? might you consider withdrawing or modifying your comment? < / umbrage >
  9. Even the man of steel needs to use an iron once in a while; I love the whimsy of it !
  10. Forgive my paranoia and hyper poltical correctness, but I read this as implying that Whole Foods has a disproportionate number of Gay and Latin employees and consequently Bezos got a bad deal. "We are not amused." /s/ your humorless co-forum member.
  11. Cute, in a masculine enough way, but I think he's *WAY* sexier now.
  12. Well given that (at least 30 years ago) a lot of french folk made their own mayonnaise (which I witnessed with my own eyes while spending an academic year there), it really isn't a big deal, but I still say that putting it on pears would diminish the experience. A nice blood-orange sauce or glaze, however ...
  13. Where's that unlike button (or an icon that says "totally unnecessary") when you need it?
  14. The harpist in the San Francisco Symphony used to work out at the same gym I did a decade ago, and also had some fearsome looking tats . . .
  15. That's an alto flute - about half again larger than a standard one. You might want to take that into account if you're trying to determine how big some of his "features" are by comparison.
  16. If these guys were amenable to bribes it would wreak total havoc with my wallet . . .
  17. Jesse Colter has appeared in a *LOG* of shoots for Kink.com. If he's anything like his personna there, he's likely to be focused on having fun and not being judgemental. You'll likely not wind up discussing literature, philosopy or art though ... (at least based on his porn personna. Have no idea what he's like in real life).
  18. I think the TED talk has been posted somewhere on this site before, but I don't mind doing and end-of-semester review. I still can't help imagining how distracting it would be to have this guys as a professor. When I was a grad student in math many, MANY years ago there was another guy in my class who was built *almost* as well, but not nearly as handsome, and he dressed in baggy clothes mostly, so people didn't notice. I just happened to have run into in the gym showering and doing circuit training a couple of times, *purely by accident*
  19. At the risk of being repetitive and predictable ... I suddenly feel the need to go hurt myself in some tender & private places . . . .
  20. I have to quite agree with the name of the tumbler quoted . . . were he in the business of accepting bribes it might prove extremely injurious to my savings.
  21. Do these qualify as classic tan lines? (From a particular magazine published January of 1987) 3.jpg 4.jpg
  22. A few months back, I turned right after leaving the cashier at the Church Street Safeway about the same time somebody who looked a *lot* like Lance Navarro did the mirror image action a couple of aisles down and we did the polite "after you" shopping cart dance ... I sent him a PM here asking if it was he, and he graciously confirmed ... (He totally exudes genuine warmth and is a lot taller than I imagined from seeing his pictures, which accounted in part for the look of surprise that must have registered on my face). I've also seen ColtSF walking down Castro street with his canine companion in the past year. About 3 years ago, I was picking up a musician friend from his apartment for a chamber music rehearsal; his partner walked out to convey apologies for a bit of tardiness, and I recognized his partner from pictures as a highly regarded masseur (of the therapeutic kind).
  23. Has anybody heard from the third of the Triumvirate, QTR lately? Hello FreshFluff and Tyro!
